In a tribute to the late Chris Lighty, long standing Hip Hop rivals 50 Cent and Fat Joe could possibly end up sharing a stage at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.
It’s been reported that the 2 are expected to be part of a tribute dedicated to the late music manager, they were both at the funeral but neither addressed each other.
In different recent interviews 50 Cent has touched on the current status between him and Fat Joe, and the responses weren’t negative.
BET’s Vice President of Communications Tracy McGraw refused to comment on the rumored tribute, saying:
“That’s a good question. I think we’ll just go with ‘Could not confirm,”
Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott are also expected to take part in the tribute.
50 & Joe were very close with Chris Lighty both in personal and business, so this could be a possibility just on those merits.
