50 Cent’s recent interview with XXL magazine, and inside he made a surprising comparison of himself and Lil Wayne.
When asked about his thoughts on Lil Wayne, 50 responds:
“He’s turning into 50 Cent.He’s going through that process of being successful, ’til people go, “You know what? Get the f*ck outta here. We don’t want you here no more.” Because you’re successful. … For me, the music is an artistic choice. I’ll say, from the very beginning, that I can care less about a critic or how someone judges me for the actual music. You see, people understand within hip-hop culture that I’m passionate about actually trying to do something different. I want to make a change in a different way. This is about me personally feeling like I wanna mean more after I’m dead, when I’m gone.”

he’s right but wayne knows its coming thats y he retiring but difference is wayne was hated before people said he was wack now they all on his nuts 50 was liked from the beginning so contradicting myself i think he’s wrong

every artist is hated, lil wayne wouldn’t be popular if EVERYONE hated him. i think 50′s comments are correct though. wayne said it himself, i dont wanna leave when people dont want me (favre)

50 just sayin what he has to say but lil wayne is always gonna be remember no matter what…look how much shit weezy has done! his songs from new to old are still bein played! no ones really gonna forget weezy cuz hes gonna, well already did leave a mark in hiphop music. he like one of the hardest workin rappers in the game….he does wat he has to do an is still working…
