50 Cent Talks About 'New Day' And How The Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys Collab Came Together

50 Cent gives us the back story to how the New Day record came together, he explains how the initial leak from Alicia Keys which was thought to be at the time Alicia’s first single from her upcoming ”Woman On Fire” album.

Alicia Keys version of the New Day record leaked organically due to Dre taking his time with 50 Cent’s version.

50 Cent acknowledged that the song was already a hit before his and Dre’s verse were added, which he told Alicia.

He also talked about Eminem originally wanting to do the drums on the beat but later came back and said there’s no way I can make this sound like Dre’s Drums.
