I’ve read both the Bible(new & Old) and Quran, I have family members that practice them both, I know exactly what I’m talking about. But I don’t need religion (Islam, Christianity etc.) to know right from wrong and have morals, that’s just being human. I believe you live your life then you die, no after life that’s just it. For most Religion serves as security mechanism for people who want to feel like there is more to life than what it is and that there is something after you pass on and that’s fine but me I don’t feel the same.
None the less it’s a fact that religion has been the number one catalyst for Blood shed in history (History major by the way).
