Artwork: Drake – Best I Ever Had

Best I Ever Had iTunes

Best I Ever Had will be available on iTunes shortly along with the So Far Gone mixtape, Of course I know all of us already have it but that’s not the point. If it does well on iTunes despite the fact that it’s free it will prove that artists indeed don’t need a major record label push anymore to sell records. Plus it might even help Drake decide on whether or not he wants to go with a major label, he has a few deals on the table but he has also stated that it would be great if he could pull it off independently. I think he should really consider the independent route.

For those of you who are apart of the Web 2.0 generation can appreciate the artwork. Artwork by Darkie. By way of October’s Very Own.

First, lets not perpetuate this lie that Artists dont need major label push to sell records. They do. Drake does everything a signed artist does except write and rap his own songs. This album cover is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I could have scribbled that on a napkin. Is this what the music industry is offering as a CD Cover now. Forget that I will get mine from the bootleg CD man. DRAKE SUX!!!!
