Eddie Wuncler has unique ideas about how Granddad can repay the millions he owes on his house.
Episode 2 of The Boondocks titled “Good Times” arrived at the perfect time, a-midst all the racial tension that's currently taking place with Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
Granddad gets caught up in one of those dishonest Subprime Refinance deals and now he's paying the price (literally) when his interest rate skyrockets up to 19%. Now he's faced with a choice, give up his home in the suburbs he's worked so hard for or become a modern day slave to the white man.
Some would argue (I don't share this view) that the Clippers players would be considered modern day slaves due to their lack conviction and follow through (again, not my view) in response to their owner Donald Sterling's racist comments regarding blacks, and black athletes as well.
It's very appropriate that this racial driven episode of The Boondocks would arrive at such a racially tense time in America.
