Boss: Season 2, Episode 2 – Through And Through

Episode 2 of Boss was pretty intense, even though Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer) is loosing his mind due to the constant battle with his debilitating disease, we’ve never really seen him vulnerable. At-least not to a point where he’s emotionally compromised.

When his wife got shot, it’s a little surprising to see him react in a caring manner, given the fact that this is the same man that basically made her sleep with someone just for political reasons.

Almost the entire episode 2 of Boss took place in the Hospital where Tom is waiting to hear news of his wife health.

While in the hospital his hallucinations continue worsen, he finds himself once again in the desert just like in Episode 1, as well seeing this in the hospital itself.

Tom didn’t let his wife getting shot go to waste, in stead he uses personal tragedy as an opportunity to further his political agenda, which leads him to poach an aide from his nemesis and hire an ambitious newcomer.

Boss is one of my favorite shows on TV. Now that things are really starting to heat up and T.I. has joined the cast, it can only get better from here on out. I actually missed this evening’s episode but I’m going to watch it on my laptop on the way home on the train tonight. Disonline.com lets me stream it to the computer and I can even watch last season if I want. This way, I’ll never be behind on the latest episode of this amazing drama. I work at Dish so I got to try it a couple of times and I’ve come to find that it’s handy. I’m really interested to see how much longer Kane thinks he can hide this disease from the public. For the way the doctor is talking, he won’t have long before his ruse unravels.
