After being in and around the fashion industry for quite some time Pusha-T decides to jump in, the G.O.O.D Music spitter held the grand opening for his new clothing boutique “Creme” in his hometown of Virginia. Prior to this Push ran the Play Cloths brand with his brother Malice. Now he's ready to take to the next level, the new store carries labels like BBC,MCM, PYREX Vision, Just Don, and much more. Creme is open now and located at 321 West 21st Street, Norfolk, VA. Below are some more photos from the grand opening.

Chief Keef is stepping up his collaboration resume this year, he just recently hopped on a track for Kanye West's neo-experimental album Yeezus, and Keef might be getting another big collabo soon. Yesterday Chief Keef took to Twitter to holler at Drake for a possible collaboration, at the moment it's only speculation but you could be hearing a Chief Keef featuring Drake record in the near future. Just from the way this went, t's more than likely none of 2 Chainz's crew was armed. Many will look at this situation and laugh but the truth it, most of you wouldn't have done anything different. 2 armed men approach you in broad daylight, you and your friends are unarmed; unless your made out of steel - it would be best that you give up your wallet as well. But f*ck all that, this sh*t is funny as hell, the first dude that came up from the front started skipping when everyone scattered, then 2 Chainz tries to run away and falls....It's like a scary movie....lol

If you frequent the site then, you may have noticed that we've been running the “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” ad campaign in partnership with YMCMB. Well in just a few weeks, the music festival will kickoff featuring Lil’ Wayne, 2Chainz, and T.I.P. The tour officially starts off July 9th, but before that the southern kings were called upon by XXL Magazine to be featured for the upcoming July / August issues. The mag will be available on newsstands June 18th; but also have their own solo magazines. Weezy goes the way of Tupac with “Still I Rise,” while the Kang, T.I.P. has “No More Drama”; and 2 Chainz remains “T.R.U. To The Game.” I'm looking forward to reading their cover stories.

Oh man, it's about to be that time again. I saw this coming from earlier when I listened to Weezy's Bugatti freestyle where he made mention of Dedication. Well now it's official, DJ Drama announces on Twitter that a new Lil Wayne mixtape is on the way. No details are really revealed besides that but he emphasizes fans to stay patient. Maybe they’re still in talks and Weezy hasn’t even cut any tracks yet. Either way, based on his tweet, don’t expect anything any time soon.

The list includes appearances from co-owner Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, along with artist KAWS,NIGO, Terry Richardson, Busta Rhymes, and many more in attendance. Congratulations to Pharrell and a very successful 10 years of business with BBC! Running a clothing line is a very hard business, especially one as trendy as street wear. Cole World season is officially upon us the new album "Born Sinner" is scheduled to touch down on June 18th and I can't wait, a couple weeks ago we got a look at the artwork for both the standard and deluxe version of the album. Today we get the official look at the Born Sinner tracklist. The best thing about this album is that I haven't heard 90% of the tracks yet which wasn't the case with his debut. The Born Sinner tracklist shows few features but the features that are on there look very interesting. Andre 3000′s Mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, Passes Away

Rapper Andre "3000" has lost his mother. A representative for the star confirmed to Billboard that Sharon Benjamin-Hodo has passed away. Benjamin-Hodo was the founder of The Starlight Camp for underprivileged children, which she guided from the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, GA. It has been requested that fans offer support to The Starlight Camp, as opposed to flowers, according to the spokesperson. Fellow Atlanta hip-hop star and Dungeon Family member Big Gipp issued his condolences via Twitter, along with Bun B and others.

I thought this was old news but I guess not. Former Cash Money Records artist TQ spoke to KFYB of UGS Radio about his time at the label and addressed the long-standing rumors regarding label star Lil Wayne and Cash Money co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams kissing each other.

"I never understood it, I asked for an explanation and they gave me an explanation and as a man, as part of my clique, had to respect the explanation. People don't understand, them dudes did that sh*t every day. They consider themselves Father and Son."

"We constantly use to get into that and I told them when we in public and cameras were under they are not gonna understand that sh*t and them n***as didn't care," he added. "It was constantly happening every day!"

But TQ denied any sexual undertones to the kissing.

"We had mad conversations about that. That was a constant struggle and they never gave a f*ck about my opinion about it, I have never seen homosexual tendencies from them cats! I think it's weird, but I don't think there was no homosexual sh*t involved!"

14-year old D’aja Robinson was killed last week as she came from a party. A gunman shot nine times into the side of a city bus, and the young girl from Queens died as she was being rushed to a hospital. Rap superstar and Queens native 50 Cent was touched by the tragedy and decided to show support to the victim's family by handling D'aja's funeral expenses.

In the beginning of the year I said the two most used words for 2013 in Hip Hop would be Molly and Ratchet and boy was I dead on. From song titles to rap lyrics, it's all over the place. And it's as Kendrick says, it's a corny movement. Kendrick is about to pull Jay-Z (when he released D.O.A, death of auto-tune) with his new record “Death To Molly,” which he premiered at the end of his "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" music video. I'm sure the record will be very interesting, hopefully just like Jay's D.O.A, Death To Molly will also become a hit record.

We've been waiting to for Cole World to return, and now J. Cole season is about to be officially in full effect. Cole unveils to artwork to his highly anticipated sophomore album Born Sinner. Originally the album was scheduled to be in stores June 25, but now Cole himself confirmed that he has moved up the release date to June 18 which puts him head to head with Kanye West. I'm sure some comparisons are going to be made. Below is the deluxe version of the artwork. What I like the most about this album is that I haven't heard much from it yet, as oppose to his debut where half the songs were aged. The lead single Power Trip was a instant hit, so I'm definitely looking for to what else is on the new record.

However soon after executives from the show refuted the claim, causing extreme confusion. Well it looks like Diddy did join the show…. sort of. You don’t even really need to ask if they are hilarious or not, because we all know that Diddy doesn’t do anything that isn’t hysterical. According to TMZ, Diddy got dropped off at the Soho House, an super-exclusive private club in West Hollywood, the likes of most people can't get into. Diddy's bodyguards drove his half a million dollar Maybach away only to be stopped a few moments later. It's being reported that someone called 911 and said someone inside the Maybach had a gun. This quickly resulted in at least 9 cop cars rolling up on Diddy's hired muscle, with guns drawn demanding that they exit the vehicle. Before you know it, the Maybach occupants were out of the car and on the ground. Cops searched the car to no avail....there were no guns. Figures.

He even laced a verse on Aaliyah's Enough Said track was aimed a Chris Brown, which fans did not appreciate. Now the shoe is on the other foot. In just over 6 weeks, Chris Brown’s “Fine China” has become one of the hottest tracks of the year dominating many playlists from all around on iTunes, MTV, BET and more. Earlier this week, Chris Brown went to Compton film a music video for his next single “They Don’t Know” which features the late-singer Aaliyah. During the 2013 BET Award nomination reveal earlier today, Breezy said he wanted to shoot the video in the Compton to uplift and bring positivity to the community. Stay tuned for Breezy’s sixth studio album “X” to release on July 16th with features set from Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and RiRi to name a few. Birdman Confirms Big Tymers Project, “Mannie Fresh Won’t Be Involved In New Album”

Birdman has confirmed that the Big Tymers will be making their big return. But the project will not be a reunion of the late 90s duo that featured Birdman and former Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh; Birdman made that clear during an appearance on "RapFix Live." "No. Nah. Not at all," Birdman said when he was asked if Fresh was taking part. Lil Wayne revealed that it will be Drake likely taking the secondary role on the album. "You can't even tell him an idea," Wayne said about Drake. "I just told him that we were thinking about it, and he just hit me and said, 'We're lookin' for some music today.' "

Ja Rule was released from prison this week after serving most of a two-year sentence for weapons possession. While the rapper has yet to talk about his future plans, a spokesperson has confirmed he will be in home confinement for the remainder of his sentence for tax evasion. spokesperson, Melanie A. Bonvicino, tells TMZ ... "My client Jeffrey Atkins (aka Ja Rule) was released this morning from the Raybrook Correctional Facility in Upstate New York to serve out his federal time obligation due under the terms set forth in accordance with home confinement which were secured by his attorney Stacy Richman," the rapper's rep, Melanie A. Bonvicino told TMZ. "At present, he looks forward to spending some time with his family while he completes his memoir."

Pharrell & Busta Accused of Stealing, ”They Just Copied It and Put It Out”

A Miami rapper is accusing Pharrell Williams and Busta Rhymes of swiping their song "Twerk It" from him. Monty $$ already had a song called "Twerk It" and he says that their song is directly derived from his track. "It's the same song, they just copied it and put it out," Monty $$ told the Miami New Times. "They are coming down to Miami and blatantly disrespecting me. They come to Miami and disrespect the city by taking its music." According to Monty $$, he shared "Twerk It" on the Facebook page of a friend who works for Pharrell. The track was then deleted. Monty claims he has a recorded conversation where the friend admits that one version of "Twerk It" was used for the other.

Kanye West Could Be Joining The “Anchorman 2″ Cast

Anchorman 2 (or Anchorman: The Legend Continue) has been one of the biggest comedy films set for later this year and having one of the biggest casts ever assmebled. Among those starring in the movie will be Kristen Wiig, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Meagan Good, Vince Vaughn, and yes Will Ferrell back as the hilarious “Ron Burgundy” to name a few. One of the secret members of the cast, Kanye West was spotted on a downtown Atlanta rooftop on set filming with Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd for a big fight scene. No other details have surfaced regarding his exact role in the movie, but we can expect to find out more in the coming months leading up to its December 2013 release. In related music news, Kanye’s gearing up for his SNL season finale performance gig, which we’re expecting to hear his first official single with Gunplay before the weeks end. His sixth studio album (which has no title at the moment) has also officialy been announced for a June 18th release date which Chief Keef, Travi$ Scott, King L and Pusha Ton to name a few. Keep an eye out for new Ye material to pop up.

Now Lil Wayne is the latest casualty of losing corporate sponsorship. Reports have just surfaced, saying PepsiCo. (Parent company to Mountain Dew) and Weezy have parted ways, due to “creative differences” according to his publicist. The news comes only days after Lil Wayne issued a formal apology to the Emmett Till family for his lyrics in the “Karate Chop” remix. Pepsi. had this to say, regarding the issue of releasing Wayne:

“Offensive references to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand.”

Yup that's right, no more DeWeezy ads, vlogs and Mountain Dew commercials all over TV.

As you may already be aware, Jay-Z will embarking on his latest venture as a sports agent with Roc Nation Sports. This has resulted in Jay-Z now relinquishing his stake in the Brooklyn Nets. In a quick letter, Shawn Carter wishes the team the best of luck in the playoffs:

My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun. I’m a Brooklyn Net forever. Unlike a lot of other artists who leave their labels, Cudder has absolutely no beef with Kanye or anybody else. He cited his reason for leaving as essentially desiring to start on a new path. Cudi's forthcoming album "Indicud" is being released April 23. Check out what he had to say in the video above. Complex reached out to Def Jam to get the official word on Cudi's departure, and they responded by saying, "G.O.O.D. Music supports Kid Cudi's decision to leave the label."

Bizzle “The Good Fight” Album Cover + Release Date

Bizzle, the MC who created a massive online buzz with his Jay-Z’s got some “Explaining to Do” track/video, has teamed with super producer Boi-1da for his next album.

The project, entitled The Good Fight is slated to be released April 23, 2013. The Good Fight will contain roughly 11 to 12 beats (out of 16 total songs) created by the Toronto musician who has won Grammys for songs he produced for Eminem and Drake. Boi-1da, whose production for Bizzle was recently highlighted in the September 2012 issue of XXL Magazine, has nothing but praise for the fearless, Houston-based rapper. “Bizzle is one of the greatest rappers I’ve ever heard, and he’s doing it for the Lord which is a real blessing,” Boi-1da said. Bizzle said he connected with Boi-1da through Twitter after the MC released his “Truth Music” song and video that questioned the dark imagery that appears to be promoted through the music of rappers like Kanye West,Rick Ross, and Jay-Z. Boi-1da offered to produce Bizzle’s next album and the two have been working ever since. “That’s a real part of my testimony,” Bizzle said. “When I became a believer I knew had to cut ties to all of the illegal money that funded my music before. And what does God do? He drops one of the best producers in the game in my lap and even sends me an engineer.” Bizzle said he wants this next album to be “one of the realest records to ever hit hip hop – not just Christian, but period.” He believes his recent prison ministry experiences have also helped him sharpen both his message and his craft. “I’ve gotten some criticism for taking aim at the negative messages that keep getting shoved at us by mainstream hip hop. But when you’re sitting in front of a hundred or more guys in orange jumpsuits and see they’re a product of that culture, it only motivates me more,” Bizzle said. “Those guys certainly aren’t celebrating that party and street lifestyle these days. And what’s sad is that so many of them are younger than me. It reminds me that if God hadn’t reached out and saved me, that could have been Bizzle behind those bars.” When it is released The Good Fight will be available at all major digital retail outlets. Wow! The 20/20 Experience has barely touched the shelves and JT is already gearing up for a sequel, he's officially back in music making mode and that's exciting. I'm currently working up the review for the 20/20 album right now so I won't go into it much here but Justin Timberlake is officially back. After plenty of discussion surrounding Questlove’s understanding of a second part arriving in November, Ryan Seacrest took to Twitter to confirm that the album is in fact in his plans for the near future.

A few hours after the news broke Mack Maine and Birdman both revealed on Twitter that Wayne is not in a coma and doing better, an official YMCMB statement will follow soon. Consequence Punks Out When Joe Budden Steps To Him

When reality TV actually becomes a reality, we see Love and Hip Hop case member Consequence is bitching up! On Hot 97, while interviewing Love & Hip Hop New York members Consequence and his girl Jen The Pen, in between segments Joe Budden confronted Consequence and Jen The Pen about comments they had said about him during interviews. All three cast mates were on rival station Power 105.1 and threw shade at each other. When Joe Budden was on the Breakfast Club he was asked if he would work with Consequence and pretty much dismissed the notion. When Cons and Jen were on the same morning show, the former also dismissed the idea but added slick commentary about it. While they were at Hot 97, Budden asked them both, “If either one of y’all got something y’all want to address toward me, we can do it now.” It’s difficult to tell if Budden knew the cameras were still rolling. Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg and K. Foxx played the background while Joe Budden and Consequence hashed out their differences—Jen The Pen didn’t say anything. “It’s radio’s job to gas, and you jumped right for the gas,” said Budden calmly. “That’s what it was,” said Cons, who did most of the talking and sounded like he was copping a whole lot of pleas. What happened to five minutes for anyone that wanted it? It didn’t seem like he meant five minutes of convo, which coincidentally is about how long this video is.

Justin Timberlake returning to music after almost 6 years is the biggest story of 2013 so far, he made a grand return with the new single "Suit & Tie" which featured the biggest name in Hip Hop, Jay-Z. The single was well received and along with it came a new album announcement from JT, the album is titled "The 20/20 Experience" and is slated for release on March 19th. About an hour ago Justin revealed the artwork for the album as well as the tracklist for the new project. The tracklist doesn't show any features but now you know the titles of the tracks that will be on the new project. Now that this whole thing is really happening, only one question remains. The hottest Pop female artist right now, is the latest to cover the new issue of Rolling Stone. She is once again displaying yet another change in her appearance and to capture her essence through photography was the legendary Terry Richardson, for the multi-page spread. In her cover story interview she talks about her newly ignited relationship with Chris Brown and how different it is now than it used to be, she also made some interesting comments about on if she fears if he’ll ever get violent with her again.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she tells contributing editor Josh Eells in the new issue of Rolling Stone, out Friday, January 31st. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world,” Rihanna says. “You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.” And Rihanna says that if Brown were ever to display a hint of his past behavior towards her, she is ready to walk. “He doesn’t have the luxury of fucking up again,” she says. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

Rick Ross Shooting Results in Car Crash, 50 Thinks It Was Staged

They are out here shooting, y'all better duck. Reports out of Fort Lauderdale, FL are claiming rapper Rick Ross has been the target of a drive-by shooting, after leaving a Floridian restaurant early this morning. According to some eye-witnesses as well as the authorities, Rick Ross traveling east on Las Olas Blvd., near 15th Ave at around 5am, when another car approached and opened fire on the Rolls Royce that was reported to have Ross inside. The driver attempted to flee after shots were fired but ended up crashing into a nearby building. The authorities have not yet released any information about what kind of car shot at Ross, but there have been injuries reported. More information to come. On a side note, 50 Cent had a few opinions. “Hahaha fat boy hit the building?lol it looks staged to me. “hahaha that boy was spooked. I ride like OBAMA level 6 built proof, bomb proof,you already know. #SMSaudio,” 50 Cent added a few hours later. 50 Cent just can't help himself.

So Game Was Really A Stripper?

Game's stepfather, Hodari Sababu, gives us a guided tour through South Central LA featuring an original score by Co La. Stops included Eazy E's home, The Game's childhood home, the Slauson Swap Meet, Flashpoint for the LA riots & the Figueroa ho stroll. The most interesting part of this guided tour is when Hodari started talking about career not as a rapper but as a stripper, yes that same thing 50 Cent was taking about years ago. The strip club was opened by Game and his stepfather Hodari Sababu.

"Me and Game's mom, we started a male exotic club. What we used to do we used to come get guys fresh out of jail, you know they was buffed up and they needed money. A lot of these guys can't go and fill out an application and get a job, but hey if they look good, they been working out, we put 'em on. We get 'em a thousand bucks a week."

Game's life as a strip club star was short but according to Hodari it will forever haunt him.

"Jayceon danced maybe twice, and 50 Cent will not let him forget it. Somehow, somebody got pictures of him dancing in that club with his g-string on, and boy, boy, boy."

Hodari has no problem telling the story because he's not on Game's payroll, no response from Game yet but I'm sure we'll hair a rap song about it.

Rick Ross Makes His Acting Debut On Season 2 of “Magic City”

Oh boy, I'm hope Ross doesn't ruin one of my favorite new shows. For those who don't know Magic City premiered last year and was a instant smash, and became another winner for Starz Network alongside Spartacus. Since Magic City takes place in Miami in the 1950s, I guess the creators of the show figure it would be a good idea to include one of the biggest names in Miami to help draw some more urban viewers to the show, the way BOSS did with T.I. and Board Walk Empire did with Michael Kenneth Williams. I've never seen Rick Ross act, so I don't know if he's any good, hopefully they kept his dialog short. That aside though season 2 looks like things are going to get really crazy, can't wait.

Rapper Freddy E Commits Suicide Over Ex-Girl Honey Cocaine

Really? Girls are making rappers kill themselves now? It's allegedly at the point but it's being said that up and coming rapper Freddy E committed suicide over his failed relationship with female rapper Honey Cocaine. As many of you may or may not know, both Freddy E and Honey Cocaine are signed to Tyga's record label Last Kings Entertainment. Before pulling the trigger, Freddy E expressed his love to his family and wrote the following on Twitter: Freddy E's father had this to say:

Today, our son, Frederick Eugene Buhl (@freddy_E), age 22 years old, took his own life with a rifle shot to the head. Our family is saddened beyond words; our loss is great; this tragedy is enormous and unforseen. Not only our family, but the world has lost a talented, sensitive, brilliant young man who lit up our existence with his. We love him a great deal, and he will be sorely missed.

Freddy E was a YouTube star and has a huge following on Twitter, and with most suicide cases, he appeared on thesurface to be someone completely stable and happy. Apart from the Facebook notice from his father, the only other piece of information Freddy E’s death comes from a blog post made Saturday night by someone who knew him.

“…you said something about being alone and all that shit so I went on your lil crushes twitter, Honey Cocaine. And she talking about being single and how she didn’t tell anybody to fall in love with her. And looking at the tweets and the post you said on facebook a few weeks back about you in love with her and you’ll take a bullet for her, I am praying you didn’t do this over a bitch.”

Blame it on the Girl!

Right now social media has gone ape shit and someone is trendy, but it's not Freddy E.....It's Honey Cocaine. The Cambodian rapper from Toronto is said to be Freddy E’s girlfriend? ex-girlfriend? never really girlfriend? friends with benefits? friends with no benefits? It's not clear at this point but what is clear is that the internets have decided that it's all her fault for him killing himself. Check out the Twitterverse: Yup that's the kind of logic we're dealing with when it comes to my generation, a girl breaks a guys heart, he kills himself, it's her fault. Now I hope all these people wake up tomorrow and realize how stupid that point of view is but that's just wishful thinking on part, hoping my generation isn't as stupid a these old folks thinks we are.

Wait.....There's More....It's Illuminati!

What? You didn't think a damn near live Twitter suicide wrapped in the realm of Hip Hop wouldn't have a conspiracy theory attached to it did you? Bare with me this is where things take a left turn onto Strange Avenue, over and over again people are insisting that Honey Cocaine caused Freddy E to kill himself as a sacrifice to the Illuminati (the 18th century Bavarian secret society of powerful people that has stampeded its way back into modern conspiracy theory). The Illuminati has been very busy in Hip Hop and black culture, they killed Whitney Hoston, recruited Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna and even Willow Smith, they wanted 50 Cent but he turned them down. Now if they accept Honey Cocaine’s sacrifice, they will make her a true star....Peep the conspiracy. Thank you internet, for muddying the waters of an otherwise tragic event, it's sad because family and friends of Freddy E are going to have to deal with that bullshit while grieving.

Damage Control

Since things are stating to go sideways on Honey Cocaine, she's been doing damage control. At first she tweeted several things about “being single,” most likely trying to avoid the imminent shit storm that's hurdling towards her. When the attacks started getting out of hand, she started to retract. When it's all said and done this is actually none of our business, the only reason why you feel like you should have an opinion is because of Twitter, hence why this blog post even exists. Just a week ago Freddy E called Honey Cocaine his "future wife." This week he kills himself, that alone should give you pause to not draw any conclusions, we don't know anything about these people.

I Will Say This Though

This is sad, though I don't necessarily feel any sympathy for him. I can't feel bad anyone killing themselves because they can't deal, it's a cop out. No one knows the full story but under no circumstances can Honey Cocaine be blamed for someone else killing themselves, no amount of heartbreak warrants that type of reaction or blame. Are we gonna blame Chris Lighty's estranged wife for his suicide because they had a fight before it happened? Yeah I didn't think so. The thing about suicides is that they seldom make sense, and we'll always look for someone to blame but there isn't anyone. No more details are available at this point but if he was unstable or in some sort of massive depression, then that's another story. Condolences go out to his family and friends. Cassidy's affiliate (I guess formerly now) AR-AB puts out a video exposing Cassidy, basically he's solidifies what Meek said on his "Repo" diss track. I've been trying to tell you guys that Meek really got it in on a street level before he blew up, now AR-AB who's resume can easily be pulled up online now confirms that Meek is really about it. AR also claimed that Cassidy lied about catching his 2005 murder case, and that Cassidy has actually been taking fame off of what AR did. He explains that he caught a body for Cassidy and never got anything from Cassidy, while he was apart of Larsiny Family. AR then transitioned to blasting Cassidy for being afraid to fight Jim Jones and Gillie Da Kid when he was pressed by them in the past, and I can tell you first hand that he did dodge Gillie Da Kid who's really about it on a street level. I'm not sure what went down with Jimmy but I can see that happening though, Capo stays with a hundred bloods on deck.

While in New York, T.I. stops by the The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 to chop it up with the crew for a little while. He was in good spirits and it's a 360 from when he was up there the last time. During the interview T.I. talks about finally having the freedom to make the type of music he couldn't make while going through his legal troubles. He talks about the state of mind he was in during that period and how he's no longer in that space. Throughout the interview he makes it clear that T.I.P is back though he does try to make a conscious effort to maintain a humble spirit. During his recording process of putting together his new "Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head" album, T.I. recorded 100+ songs. From he's saying some of those songs will make it onto the follow up album "Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown," which he says is coming soon. T.I. seems to be restored and back to a place where many said he could never be, he has a good album out, big records and by the looks of it, he's just getting warmed up.

Jezzy will be heading up the new venture alongside Atlantic chairman Craig Kallman. When asked about the recent departure of Freddie Gibbs from CTE, Jeezy had this to say: "Freddie is a talented artist and I decided that it's time to press reset on my career and business ventures. I have no doubt that Freddie will go on to be everything I believe he can be, and I wish him the best in his career." It's a good move for Jeezy and CTE but would really like to know what lead to Gibbs leaving. Thoughts?

Pepsi just announced the completion of a $50 million deal with Beyoncé in return of her position as the global brand ambassador. This isn't the first time Beyonce has worked with the brand, prior representation included being featured in four commercials, but this new deal however takes the partnership to a whole new level. The deal is set to include the diva’s presence on a number of billboards, websites and appearances on your favourite channels. The first chance we’ll get to see the partnership on our television sets will be at the halfway point of the upcoming Super Bowl event, coinciding with her live performance. Beyonce continues to be one of the highest paid female entertainers today, and is even giving her husband Jay-Z a run for his money, (No pun intended).

Rita Ora has been dealing with Rihanna comparisons for over a year now, even worse one of Rita's biggest singles thus far "R.I.P" which was written by Drake was originally meant for Rihanna. It now appears the Roc Nation up-and-coming star wants no parts of being likened to Roc Nation's established superstar. Ora had previously stated that she feel honored to be compared Rihanna, but recently Rita seems to want to distance herself from the Barbadian singer. "Rihanna is cool and fun but we couldn’t be more different," Ora told the Daily Mail. "She is from Barbados and I am from Kosovo," she added. "And that should say it all really." Apart from the being on the same label and having a Drizzy written song in common, the comparison is very much unfounded. Musically and aesthetically, they're nothing alike. Lets see if this leads to some sort of rivalry.

I had no doubt that Alicia Keys new album was going to be at the top of Billboards this week. Her much anticipated fifth studio album, Girl On Fire first week numbers are in. Alicia secures the number one spot on the Billboard 100 chart with 161,000 copies sold. Even though it's highest opening week for an R&B album this year, it remains overshadowed by her The Element Of Freedom LP which sold 417,000 copies within seven days back in 2009. Nevertheless, the album is incredible and I personally feel it's the best R&B release of the year, and in the long run it will more than likely be her 5th platinum selling album. Get the Girl On Fire album.
