It was a pretty cool setup, the whole entire including the count down dedicated to G.O.O.D. Music. This completes promo filled week for the album, yesterday morning they hit The Breakfast Club and Funkmaster Flex the night before.

Over the past year Tyga along with Rick Ross and a few other artists, have been involved in some of the brand’s biggest Ad campaigns. That's not enough for Tgya, the entrepreneur wants to take the Reebok relationship even further, with the release of Tyga’s first official signature Reebok shoe, appropriately called the “T-Raww.” The Reebok T-Raww is expected to is all major shoe retailers in December in a variety of colorways. Props to Tyga, he's doing his thing.

Jay-Z & Beyonce Raised $4 Million For President Obama at The 40/40 Club

President Obama might not a Super PAC as big as the Republicans but what he does have in spades is allot of celebrity friends. Two of which just so happen to be Jay-Z & Beyonce who on Tuesday night (9/18/12/) raised over 4 million dollars the President's campaign, and now Katy Perry has revealed that she will perform at an upcoming event for the Democratic nominee. Jay-Z & Beyonce's Fundraiser took place a Jay's famous Manhattan 40/40 club where 100 guests each paid $40,000 to attend the event. Wow! Beyonce introduced Obama to the room, noting,

“I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama. We believe in his vision.”

The president told the crowd:

“Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. We both have daughters, and our wives are more popular than we are. So we’ve got a little bond there.”

He added:

“To Jay and B, thank you so much for your friendship. Beyonce could not be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent.”

Life is good at the top.

SMSAudio was brought and how well it's doing internationally. He further elaborated on the current state of G-Unit, his relationship with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. He says he hasn't spoken to them in over 10 months, even though he did see Banks Chris Lighty's funeral. Speaking of Chris Lighty, 50 Cent continues to have doubts about Chris Lighty actually committing suicide. 50 was asked about his relationship with Manny Pacquiao, to which he responded to by saying they're friends. Plus he also talked about doing the boxing promotion company with Manny Pacquiao instead of Floyd Mayweather. He continues on to talk about other topics such as personal relationships, Jam Master Jay, New Day and a slew of other things.

Over the past 2 years The Weeknd has put out some impressive mixtapes, first it was Thursday, then House Of Balloons followed by Echoes Of Silence to end off the trilogy. In between that were also some notable unofficial tapes as well, which included OVOXO, Balloons Of Haus, and Live For This (Coachella). All of this created a buzz we haven't seen for a R&B singer in quite some time, he has been performing and selling out shows since then and all without a major deal or a debut album. Now all of that is about to change. Yesterday The Wekend and his imprint XO announced a joint venture with Universal Music subsidiary Republic Records. The Toronto native has plans to release a trilogy package on November 13th which will contain "House of Balloons" "Thursday" and "Echoes of Silence" remastered along with 3 new bonus tracks to be included. To prepare for the trilogy release, The Weeknd has plans to release his first single off the project titled “Wicked Games” on iTunes soon. Congrats to The Weeknd, it's well deserved.

Prohibition: New York City, Oh No! What Will We Do Without Our 17 oz Sodas

Prohibition? Really? Yup that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the proposed banning of Sodas that are bigger than 16 ounces, Prohibition. Except soda isn't illegal, and there isn't some huge criminal underworld peddling home made sodas and banking millions in untaxed dollars. I get it though man, Prohibition is great word that will forever live in history and serve as reminder that the government screwed up by making something illegal that shouldn't have been. It's not the same as putting a cap on how large a cup of Soda can be from a Fast Food spot though. Is this really going to disrupt your life? Bloomberg, who was the one that told New Yorkers where they can and can not smoke cigarettes, as well as waging a war on trans fats (applaud him for that one), has decided to go after those ridiculously large sodas you usually find at 7/11 and other Fast Food places. I really don't think anyone has a problem with banning of those ~~(poison)~~ big sodas, America is the fattest country in the world and should definitely be consuming less sugar. I think it's the way it's being done, people don't like being told they can't do something and Bloomberg has never been one for finesse and subtlety. In response to the Mayor’s proposed ban on soda servings over 16 oz., Mountain Dew and New York Art Department put together a public art/advertising campaign called PROHIBITION: NEW YORK CITY, which features a fictional 17 ounce can of Mountain Dew as a kind of subtle protest. I'm sure your gonna start seeing these everywhere in the City. So do you care?

“I definitely sat down and spoke with Eminem about working and we agreed to get in the studio and see what we could do. He’s one of the best, I want to work with one of the best and try and give some music contributions. I think that would be one of the next steps in that lineage of what I’m trying to do.”

No I.D. is one hell of a producer, I have no doubt that whatever he and Eminem cook up in the studio will be dope.

Tyga is definitely getting his Entrepreneurial game up. He has the Last Kings clothing line, plus the partnership with Reebok, and now Mr. Rack City has decided venture off into the adult industry. The site is called RackCityXXX.com (of course it is), and if you've been on the web for more than a day you know what to expect from a XXX website. Tyga will be directing, producing, and even starring in the website’s first film titled Rack City: The Movie. Thankfully, he will be participating in non-sexual capacity. Tyga plans to release the film in a package including “Faded” and unreleased music. If these films are anything like the original Make It Nasty music video, he should do fine. In fact, lets just relive that right now.

1. Dr. Dre @ $110 million

Dr. Dre tops the list this year mostly due to his Beats By Dre headphones, but there's also the fact that he has stake in the careers of Emineem and 50 Cent plus a very profitable catalog of music. He's also the only artist other than 50 Cent to make over $100 million in a single year.

2. Diddy @ $45 million

Diddy comes in second as he continues pull in huge profits from his stake the Ciroc Vodka brand, in October 2007 Diddy agreed to help develop the Ciroc vodka brand for a 50 per cent share of the profits. He became a brand ambassador for the product. The product has had huge commercial success and is synonymous with Hip Hop culture, often affiliated with terms like "Ciroc Boys" or Diddy referring to himself as Cîroc Obama. Cîroc is on pace to sell more than 2 million cases in 2012.

3. Jay-Z @ $38 million

Jay-Z continues to be the ultimate hustler, he's never fell below the 3rd position and has for many years been at the top spot. His Roc Nation label sports artists like J. Cole, Rita Ora, Willow Smith and Jahlil Beats as well as a management roster containing acts like Rihanna, Meek Mill, Wale, Melanie Fiona and Shakira just to name a few. His collaboration album Watch The Throne with Kanye West was very successful and many would even call it classic.

4. Kanye West @ $35 million

Kanye West is not too far behind his big brother Jay-Z with $35 million, His G.O..O.D Music label is the home to Big Sean, Pusha T, Common, Kid CuDi and more. His Air Yeezy sneaker line is also very successful, not to mention the Watch The Throne tour that brought in big profits for both Kanye and Jay-Z.

5. Lil Wayne @ $27 million

Lil Wayne closes out the top 5 with $27 million, allot of which is due to his latest album Tha Carter IV, which sold almost a million copies it's first week. He's finally started to branch out into non-music ventures such as DEWeezy with Mountain Dew, and Trukfit clothing line.

6. Drake @ $20.5 million

Lil Wayne's YMCMB front runner Drake stays close to Weezy with a little over $20 million. This is a big jump from last year where he tied Wiz Khalifa for the 11th spot earning $11 million. His Take Care album was very successful, selling 631,000 copies it's first week. This was then followed by a successful Club Paradise tour. He also shills for Sprite and Kodak.

7. Bryan “Birdman” Williams @ $20 million

He’s the co-founder and chief of Cash Money Records—home to listmates Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj—and adds to his coffers with other ventures including clothing and vodka. Birdman tied Wayne last year for the number 4 spot earning $15 million.

8. Nicki Minaj @ $15.5 million

I guess it's 19 Cash Kings and 1 Cash Queen, performances at the Super Bowl and the Grammys helped raise her profile while a new album, extensive touring and endorsements with Pepsi and others lined her pocketbook. I might be wrong but I think Nicki Minaj is the only female to ever make Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.

9. Eminem @ $15 million

Sometimes music is enough. Eminem sold more albums last decade than any artist in the world, and continues to cash in from his extensive back catalog and occasional tour dates.

10. Ludacris @ $12 million

Nicki Minaj has finally made it clear as to what is her sexuality, when she originally came out she made allot of references to being bi-sexual and very much being into women on numerous songs on her mixtapes and albums. Allot of this was covered on iHipHopMusic, and it was part of the reason why she got so much attention and why so many lesbian/bi-sexual women were at her shows. She strung along the public and her fans for a very long time, and it worked for her. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, she admitted that she thinks women are attractive, but she would never date a woman, and that she only said she was bi-sexual in order to gain media attention. Rolling Stone released the following statement regarding her confession:

"Early in her career Minaj claimed to be bisexual, but now says she just did that to get attention. 'I think girls are sexy,' she says. 'But I'm not going to lie and say that I date girls."

T.I. Talks “Trouble Man” Album & Possible 50 Cent Collaboration

T.I. sat down with Young Jack Thriller from Thisis50.com to talk about his upcoming "Trouble Man" album.

"I'm trying to get it done by the end of the year, man," explained Tip. "I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make sure that when it comes out, it's gonna be classic."

He said he would be willing to collaborate with 50 Cent on some new music.

"Hey man, whenever 50 ready, man," said T.I. "We just gotta find the right thing, because we so significant in our own right, to the cultures and the regions of people we represent. We gonna have to find something that speaks to those people."

I think it would be cool to hear these 2 on a record, they sure have come a long way from even just a year ago.

TIP also explained the difference between this upcoming project and his recent "No Mercy" album, "On No Mercy, I was apologizing for being Trouble Man. Right now, I'm embracing it," he said. "There's going to be some music on there that you gonna be like, 'Yo, this is the T.I. I fell in love with.'"

He also spoke about the sequel to his book, Power & Beauty.

Reports say Chris Lighty ended up shooting himself in the head after a heated argument with estranged wife in the Bronx. If your not familiar with Chris Lighty, he was behind the initial success of many Hip Hop artists including 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey. He was the one that advised 50 Cent on getting involved with Glaceau Energy Brands (Parent company for Vitamin Water), he brokered the multi-million dollar deal for 50 Cent. A deal that then lead to 50 Cent cashing in on his 10% stake in the company when it was acquired by Coca-Cola for 4.1 billion which netted 50 Cent between $60 million and $100 million. That's just one of the many contributions Chris Lighty has made to the world of Hip Hop. It's unexpected that guy of his character and stature would be driven to kill himself. Max B Is Going To Spend the Rest of His Life in Jail

That's it for Max Bigavelle, today was the last speck of hope Max B had of maybe one day being a free man. Earlier today in a New Jersey appeals court upheld Max B’s 75-year conviction for his part in the 2006 robbery and murder of David Taylor in a Fort Lee hotel room.

Charly Wingate, better known in the hip-hop world as “Max B,” was convicted after Bergen County prosecutors argued during a trial in Hackensack that he deployed his stepbrother, Kelvin Leerdam, and his girlfriend, Gina Conway, to the Holiday Inn on Route 4 to commit the robbery.

With A 2 Year Prison Bid Imminent, Beanie Sigel is Brought Up On New Gun & Drug Charges

Beans just can't seem to catch a break, he was already facing a 2 year ghetto vacation and now things will more than like get more serious. Beanie Sigel was arrested early yesterday morning after his car was pulled over by police at 3:15 AM, after they noticed the car was swerving in and out of it's lane. A search revealed Beans had in his possession weed and a bottle of pills.

Troopers then focused their attention to the passenger, identified as Dwight E Grant, also known as famous Philadelphia rapper “Beanie Sigel.” Police searched Grant and found approximately $4,650 cash, a bottle of codeine syrup with a scratched off label, and several prescription pills wrapped in plastic bags located in a cigarette pack. Both men were detained, and during a search of the vehicle Troopers found a firearm located in the center console. Andrews and Grant are both convicted felons and not allowed to possess a firearm.

Hopefully the album Sigel has coming out does well because he's going to need ever penny.

Lil Wayne: “Flat Out, I Don’t Like New York,” Queens State Senator Demands Apology For The Remark

Wayne has had a rough run with New York City for quite some time now, first he was arrested in 2007 and ultimately jailed for gun possession after getting pulled over following a live show. His most recent misstep was earlier in the summer when he pulled Nicki Minaj from her scheduled performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam, which we all should remember created quite the controversy. Now he simply just doesn't like us. In a recent interview, when Wayne was posed with the question of what happened with Hot 97's Summer Jam performance, he didn't hesitate to express his dislike for the Rotten Apple.

"Lil Wayne has never been shy about expressing his disdain for New York, but that didn't stop Tunechi from rolling through the Roseland Ballroom to rock the stage with Nicki Minaj. 'Flat out: I don't like New York', Weezy told MTV News on Monday night while in Las Vegas to introduce his new line of sneakers with Supra." "Wayne's distaste for the Big Apple performances is understandable, considering it was his 2007 gun arrest after a NYC show that led to his 2010 incarceration. 'You're not supposed to leave it at, 'Everything happens for a reason,' Wayne said of how the failed Summer Jam set turned into a blessing in disguise. 'I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week."

Weezy's comments were heard by Queens State Senator Malcolm Smith who demands an apology from Lil Wayne. A press release from the Senator's office stated that "The rapper publicly said he flat out don't like New York. New York City is the birthplace of the Hip Hop music movement. Millions of New Yorkers listen to his music every day. His comments outraged his local fans and residents. The group today will be demanding an apology of the hip hop star." The press release also promised that Smith will be "joined by members of the hip hop youth council and tourism officials" to help address the issue as well. Wayne is entitled to feel that way given his history, so should he apologize? Leave your thoughts.

Below is an alternate version that been making the rounds on Twitter, I think the alternate cover captures who Wayne is now more than Diebolt's version, but then again Lil Wayne is on some skateboard ish now, so it works. In addition to choosing the artwork, Wayne also put out a PSA regarding the mixtape being pushed back until next week. On Monday when Drake debut his Aaliyah track "Enough Said" produced by Noah “40" Shebib, it was met with mixed reaction from Drake fans as well as long time Aaliyah fans (like myself) that felt some kind of way about Timbaland and Missy Elliott not being apart of the project. Since they both were very instrumental to Aaliyah's signature sound and success. In a turn of events, in a interview with Billboard.biz, cousin of Aaliyah Jomo Hankerson and founder of Blackground Records has confirmed that Timbaland and Missy will be involved in the making of the album. They will play a part in the sound of unreleased material from Aaliyah. Jomo Hankerson said the reason why he chose Drake and 40 to co-executive produce the project was due to their "unique sound" on Alicia Keys’ The Element Of Freedom single “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready).” That was one hell of a record, but is that enough to have them executive produce an entire album for one of the most beloved R&B singers? Either way, there is no way I'm not going to going pick-up an Aaliyah album when it hits stores, even if Timbaland and Missy Elliott weren't involved. But now that they are involved, I'm definitely looking forward to the project now. How About y'all?

Last night on Atlanta based radio station V103 radio show hosted by Greg Street, he announced that Young Jeezy has been named Senior Vice President of A&R at Atlantic Records. The news was quickly given a second confirmation by DJ Folk, who has worked with Jeezy for years and was a major factor behind the CTE movement. There has been no official word from Young Jeezy regarding his complete role in the new position, but it's a very interesting predicament for Jeezy, since he's still signed to Def Jam as a artist. His classic Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, was released in 2005 on Def Jam followed by every solo album since then including his now certified gold album TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition, which has an average of 4 stars from 35 user votes in our album review section. The question that most will ask, will probably be what makes Jeezy qualified to be in this position and what successful projects has he A&R-ed. Which are all valid points. Rachel Brown will be releasing her debut EP Building Castles on September 18^th, 2012.The singer-songwriter, who was born and raised in New York City with Ethiopian, Bermudian and Southern roots, fuses pop, Caribbean, Hawaiian, country, hip-hop and world sounds into Building Castles' six self-penned songs. The EP's first single, "Bumblebee," will be accompanied by a music video directed by Rex Arrow Productions founder Ian Wolfson (Mac Miller, Nelly). With no formal musical training, Brown found her voice organically. "I would pick up my guitar and teach myself how to play by writing songs," says Brown. "I just played until it sounded right." Peers and established veterans alike quickly recognized Brown's natural talent. She was the 2010 recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Foundation Robert Allen Award for songwriting as well as a 2011 recipient of the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting. Oh man, I was waiting on that joint. In a interview with Fuse Wiz tells them that the "O.N.I.F.C." project has been pushed back until September, It's only a month but still. It's not due to a lack buzz though, just to be clear. He also speaks on other upcoming projects such as the collaboration joint with Currency the hot spitta celebrating the 3 years anniversary for their classic How Fly mixtape. He also talked about Big Sean's horrible B Ball skills as well as the upcoming Taylor Gang album. If you haven't been keeping up, these are the releases from Wiz in the past few weeks - All hot too. First he hit us with Oz’s & Lbs featuring Chevy Woods & Berner, Telescope featuring the boy 50 Cent, fif kills his verse. Then he followed up with Different Cloth featuring Busta Rhymes who you already know killed his verse. Your not the only one Snoop, my country tends to have that effect on people. I've been seeing signs of Snoop gravitating towards things Jamrock related for quite some time now, from wearing the African colored Tam to making allot of Rastafarian references in his most recent music videos.

VICE Films, in partnership with Snoopadelic Films, presents REINCARNATED. The documentary follows Snoop Dogg as he journeys to Jamaica to record an album with Diplo. While there, Snoop finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion.

A Snoop Dogg album with no rapping huh? So this is gonna be a reggae album? Should be interesting.

Music Executive James Prince Says Drake Is Being Scammed Out of Millions of Dollars

We have yet another person claiming Drake owes them money, music exec James Prince aka "Jas" claims Drizzy Drake's management team has been ripping off the Toronto based rapper. Not by a small portion either, according to Jas it's in the millions and Drake has yet to see and revenue from his records' royalties. It's also being reported that James has filed a lawsuit against Drake's management team, he claims he discovered Drake and has not seen a dime from it which he says was agreed upon.

"The music exec who discovered Drake says that the rap star's management company has been cheating him out of big bucks -- and that Drake is being ripped off to the tune of millions as well. In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, James "Jas" Prince says that he discovered Drake on MySpace back in 2007 and introduced him to Lil Wayne and the bad-boy rapper's managers -- only to get cut out of the deal", reports the New York Post. "They later agreed to give Prince a share of Drake's earnings, but he has yet to see a penny of that money, the suit says. More shocking, though, the suit claims the managers also have failed to pay Drake any of his royalties from his hit records. 'He hasn't been paid, and we haven't been paid,' said Prince's lawyer, James McMillan. A rep for the managers, Aspire Music Group, Laurant Management and Three Kings, did not return a call for comment. A rep for Drake did not return a call for comment."

I'm not clear on something here, just how involved is Drake's management team in his deal? Why are they even in the conversation when it comes to Drake's royalties, isn't that supposed to be a Drake/Label arrangement or a Drake/ Drake's Attorney/ Accountant/ Label arrangement? That's the first problem, secondly "discover" is a loose term - I can say I discovered Drake because I was one of the first to post his music all the way back in 2006 but that wouldn't be accurate. There's a big difference between being the one who first saw potential and the one that was instrumental to the success of an artist. But then again if there was some agreement made, then that's different story. Most recently, West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar decided to make his point of view known, saying that he sides with Young Money's artist in this case. While on 105.1's The Breakfast Show Wednesday morning, Kendrick says he wasn't aware of the matter before his set at Summer Jam 2012. "Man, I was backstage I didn't even know that, that was going on onstage. I would be hot, she got all the right reasons to be [upset] and do all that she did." Nas has been in Nicki Minaj's shoes in the past. Back at the 2001 Summer Jam festival, Nas had his own beef going on with Hot 97 because of his then beef with fellow lyricist Jay-Z. This time around, he was a spectator of a new school beef, and he spoke up about the current situation between Nicki Minaj vs Hot 97 at the 2012 Summer Jam festival. Nas spoke to Rap-Up.com about the entire issue but remained respectful and neutral to both parties. Nas knows very well how it feels to be a part of beef in the hip-hop realm, and now that he has matured over the years, he honestly feels as though everyone should just put their differences behind them and unify, despite what camp they might represent. Here's what Nas had to say: "I've been there before and things like that happen every couple of years. I guess this is the second time something has happened like that between the artist and the radio station. We don't always agree and the nature of hip-hop can be aggressive and get real gangsta on you now and then. That's just what it is. These things happen. "YMCMB's situation was different than mine and I'm not clear on all of it, but of course when it happened with me years ago, it was based on the Jay-Z drama and a whole bunch of other stuff. Her situation is based on something different between her and her camp. Eventually I got cool with Hot 97 and they got cool with me. It's one hip-hop family, and that's how it should be at the end of the day. "I think it was just really messy. When you're in the heat of that moment, no one has time to inform anybody, but we (Nicki and I) spoke after briefly and it seemed like it was a crazy situation for her to handle. When put in that position, it's no easy thing and I guess I was in support of her, in support of Hot 97. I've been there before, so at the end of the day, it could be fixed. Lil Wayne Dislocates Shoulder Skateboarding!

While on the set shooting the video for French Montana's "Pop Dat" featuring Drake and Lil Wayne, AllHipHop.com caught up with Wayne, and got him to open up about a pretty serious injury that he suffered while skateboarding about four weeks ago. Wayne began by giving a brief promotional shoutout to his clothing line Trukfit, and then spoke briefly on the injury he sustained to his left shoulder. "I separated my shoulder like four weeks ago and I didn't go to rehab. It hurts like fuck," Wayne said. When asked if he would let some of the bikini wearing models on the set give him a massage to ease the pain, Weezy replied, " "I would let them give me a massage, but my sh*t is really tender to the touch, I can't even let no one touch it." 50 Cent Hospitalized By Mystery Illness! Says He’s Feeling Better

It all started two days ago when 50 had to cancel his interview with Funk Flex because he was not feeling well. Then last night everyone on Twitter was shocked by news that this mysterious illness had actually hospitalized the G-Unit soldier who survived nine gun shots years ago. Details on his illness are scarce, however it is being described as some kind of stomach virus. It's unclear if the extent of his hospitalization is more serious than that. Everyone who is worried about him can rest easy though because 50 joked around about his hospital stay on Twitter, and recently tweeted that he is feeling better and should be released from the hospital fairly soon. If it was that serious, he probably wouldn't be cracking jokes. Earlier today, 50 tweeted that he’s feeling better and should be out of the hospital soon.

Rihanna Unfollows Chris Brown on Twitter, After Supposedly Being Dissed On His Theraflu Freestyle

At the beginning of the year it seemed as though Rihanna and Chris Brown had put their troubles behind them, as they worked on remix of Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" and Breezy's "Turn Up the Music." However, Breezy's remix of Kanye's "Theraflu," may have caused a permanent rift between the two, as Rihanna "unfollowed" him on Twitter shortly after its release. The remix features a line that many listeners interpreted to be about Rihanna, as he freestyled "Don't f*ck with my old bitches ... like a bad fur ... every industry n*gga done had her." He continued on by saying "Trick or treat like a pumpkin ... just to smash her." It seems that the track even convinced Rihanna that the line was directed at her, as she unfollowed Breezy just hours after the song was released. A short time later he unfollowed Rihanna. Chris Brown also addressed the matter on Twitter, saying "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about." Source: TMZ

While in Nashville, Tennessee, rapper Wiz Khalifa received a citation from police officers after they found a small bag of marijuana. The authorities were alerted when another guest at the hotel the rapper was staying at complained of smelling marijuana smoke, and when the cops showed up they found the weed. Lil Boosie Rap Lyrics to be Used During His Murder Trial, Is That Fair?

New Orleans rapper Lil Boosie is set to stand trial beginning on April 30th for a 2009 murder. New developments have emerged in the case, as presiding Judge Erwin has ordered an expert in rap music to provide testimony during the trial. The expert will be brought in to clarify certain words and phrases in a Lil Boosie song which the prosecution requested recently. The prosecution initially wanted to play one of Boosie's songs during the actual trial in its entirety, because they felt specific lyrics in a certain song provided possible hints and clues that would be pertinent to the matter at question. In the lyrics, Boosie uses "187", "mirk", and "cake", all of which they claim is slang for when discussing murder and money. No telling if this will help or hurt Boosie's chances, Is it fair to use lyrics from music in a criminal case? I always thought music fell into the artistic expression department, and wouldn't be admissible in court. Source: nbc33tv.com

Drake Talks 2 Chainz Collaboration, It Was Only A Matter Of Time

It was only a matter of time before one of the biggest Hip-Hop super stars would get around to doing a collaboration with one of the hottest MCs (If not the hottest) in the game right now, 2 Chainz. Drake said that he will be releasing music with his Club Paradise tourmates that he has yet to work with, this includes J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and French Montana.

“I have very strong alliances with these guys that are on this tour with me,” Drake said during a conference call Tuesday (April 24). “I guess it’s safe to say now that anybody that I didn’t have a song with before, I have a song with now. I made sure of that.” [...]“Along with this tour, fans are also going to get some exciting musical material that will probably end up dropping a few days before the tour, so that we can perform it on tour,” Drizzy said.

Those records will more than likely hit the interwebs sooner than later, since the American segment of the tour kicks off next week.

“On this tour, I encourage people to get there early, because it’s more [of] a festival vibe, if anything,” he said. “It’s one of those days that’s it’s going to start during the sunlight and the sun’s going to drop, it’s outdoors, it’s summertime … I want people to make it a day.”

Wiz Khalifa Responds To Kanye West Dropping His Name on The “Theraflu” Track

By now, Kanye West's "Way Too Cold" (Theraflu), has blasted on the radio and in clubs many times, so tons of people have heard it. In the song, West fires direct shots at his current girlfriend's ex, Kris Humphries, while simultaneously dropping Wiz Khalifa's name in the track, but in a respectful way. Everyone knows Wiz is now engaged to West's ex-girl Amber Rose, so people might think that Kanye would have some negative words in regards to Wiz if he were to mention him on a song. However, West clearly stated that he respects Wiz when he spit the lines: "The whole industry wanna f*ck your old chick / The only n*gga I got respect for is Wiz / And I'll admit I fell in love with Kim / Right around the same time she fell in love with him." Until recently, Wiz Khalifa has remained silent about his name being dropped in the song. But DJ Funkmaster Flex got Wiz to speak up about the song on New York City's Hot 97 radio show Monday night (4/23). Here's what Wiz had to say in response to Flex asking him if he was shocked and why he felt shocked: "Yes, because he said my name. I've gone a long time without anybody actually saying my name out loud like that. It wasn't a bad thing. It was just the fact that it was my name.
