Rapper Freddy E Commits Suicide Over Ex-Girl Honey Cocaine

Really? Girls are making rappers kill themselves now? It's allegedly at the point but it's being said that up and coming rapper Freddy E committed suicide over his failed relationship with female rapper Honey Cocaine. As many of you may or may not know, both Freddy E and Honey Cocaine are signed to Tyga's record label Last Kings Entertainment. Before pulling the trigger, Freddy E expressed his love to his family and wrote the following on Twitter: Freddy E's father had this to say:

Today, our son, Frederick Eugene Buhl (@freddy_E), age 22 years old, took his own life with a rifle shot to the head. Our family is saddened beyond words; our loss is great; this tragedy is enormous and unforseen. Not only our family, but the world has lost a talented, sensitive, brilliant young man who lit up our existence with his. We love him a great deal, and he will be sorely missed.

Freddy E was a YouTube star and has a huge following on Twitter, and with most suicide cases, he appeared on thesurface to be someone completely stable and happy. Apart from the Facebook notice from his father, the only other piece of information Freddy E’s death comes from a blog post made Saturday night by someone who knew him.

“…you said something about being alone and all that shit so I went on your lil crushes twitter, Honey Cocaine. And she talking about being single and how she didn’t tell anybody to fall in love with her. And looking at the tweets and the post you said on facebook a few weeks back about you in love with her and you’ll take a bullet for her, I am praying you didn’t do this over a bitch.”

Blame it on the Girl!

Right now social media has gone ape shit and someone is trendy, but it's not Freddy E.....It's Honey Cocaine. The Cambodian rapper from Toronto is said to be Freddy E’s girlfriend? ex-girlfriend? never really girlfriend? friends with benefits? friends with no benefits? It's not clear at this point but what is clear is that the internets have decided that it's all her fault for him killing himself. Check out the Twitterverse: Yup that's the kind of logic we're dealing with when it comes to my generation, a girl breaks a guys heart, he kills himself, it's her fault. Now I hope all these people wake up tomorrow and realize how stupid that point of view is but that's just wishful thinking on part, hoping my generation isn't as stupid a these old folks thinks we are.

Wait.....There's More....It's Illuminati!

What? You didn't think a damn near live Twitter suicide wrapped in the realm of Hip Hop wouldn't have a conspiracy theory attached to it did you? Bare with me this is where things take a left turn onto Strange Avenue, over and over again people are insisting that Honey Cocaine caused Freddy E to kill himself as a sacrifice to the Illuminati (the 18th century Bavarian secret society of powerful people that has stampeded its way back into modern conspiracy theory). The Illuminati has been very busy in Hip Hop and black culture, they killed Whitney Hoston, recruited Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna and even Willow Smith, they wanted 50 Cent but he turned them down. Now if they accept Honey Cocaine’s sacrifice, they will make her a true star....Peep the conspiracy. Thank you internet, for muddying the waters of an otherwise tragic event, it's sad because family and friends of Freddy E are going to have to deal with that bullshit while grieving.

Damage Control

Since things are stating to go sideways on Honey Cocaine, she's been doing damage control. At first she tweeted several things about “being single,” most likely trying to avoid the imminent shit storm that's hurdling towards her. When the attacks started getting out of hand, she started to retract. When it's all said and done this is actually none of our business, the only reason why you feel like you should have an opinion is because of Twitter, hence why this blog post even exists. Just a week ago Freddy E called Honey Cocaine his "future wife." This week he kills himself, that alone should give you pause to not draw any conclusions, we don't know anything about these people.

I Will Say This Though

This is sad, though I don't necessarily feel any sympathy for him. I can't feel bad anyone killing themselves because they can't deal, it's a cop out. No one knows the full story but under no circumstances can Honey Cocaine be blamed for someone else killing themselves, no amount of heartbreak warrants that type of reaction or blame. Are we gonna blame Chris Lighty's estranged wife for his suicide because they had a fight before it happened? Yeah I didn't think so. The thing about suicides is that they seldom make sense, and we'll always look for someone to blame but there isn't anyone. No more details are available at this point but if he was unstable or in some sort of massive depression, then that's another story. Condolences go out to his family and friends. Hip Hop Mogul Chris Lighty Dead at 44, After Shooting Himself In The Head

Reports say Chris Lighty ended up shooting himself in the head after a heated argument with estranged wife in the Bronx. If your not familiar with Chris Lighty, he was behind the initial success of many Hip Hop artists including 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey. He was the one that advised 50 Cent on getting involved with Glaceau Energy Brands (Parent company for Vitamin Water), he brokered the multi-million dollar deal for 50 Cent. A deal that then lead to 50 Cent cashing in on his 10% stake in the company when it was acquired by Coca-Cola for 4.1 billion which netted 50 Cent between $60 million and $100 million. That's just one of the many contributions Chris Lighty has made to the world of Hip Hop. It's unexpected that guy of his character and stature would be driven to kill himself. Hot 97 & BET’s Own DJ Megatron Shot and Killed (R.I.P)

Gunshots rang out early Sunday morning claiming the life of the young DJ. Police rushed to the scene where witnesses say the heard a single gunshot around 2am in the Clifton area of Staten Island. DJ Megatron was fatally shot in the stomach, and police pronounced him dead on the scene. His stepfather, Keith Robinson said that the family was obviously distraught over the death of the Hot 97 resident DJ and BET's 106th and Park regular. Lisa Torres, a close friend of Megatron, arrived to the scene at 4am, after just talking to him hours earlier. She became distraught and inconsolable when the news finally sank in saying "He's right there on the ground. I can't believe this! You're lying, you're lying!That's not Megatron right there!" Nate Dogg Dies at 41 (R.I.P.)

Iconic Hip-Hop singer Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale) died last night. The cause of death is currently unknown, but the singer had two major strokes in 2009 and 2010 that paralyzed the left side of his body. Nate Dogg was part of the group "213" with Snoop Dogg and Warren G. He made his first appearance on Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" album, and became the go-to hook-man on countless hit singles like 50 Cent's "21 Questions", Ludacris' "Area Codes", 2Pac's "All About You" and many others. He appeared on over 20 million records sold. Celebrities like Snoop Dogg, The Game, Daz, Ludacris, Dave Chappelle and countless others tweeted their condolences.

Guru’s Family Makes a Statement

As many people suspected, that there is no way Guru could have wrote that letter. I know there is 2 sides to every story but why would you even do something like that? It's a shame because this over shadows Guru's passing.

The Elam family wishes to thank the fans of our son/brother/father uncle/nephew/cousin Keith aka GURU for the outpouring of love, concern and support. Our hearts are broken by the loss of someone we loved so much. GURU was devoted to his young son, who will most keenly feel his absence. GURU suffered from multiple myeloma for over a year. Accrued complications from this illness led to respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. As a result, GURU was in a coma from mid February until his death and never regained consciousness. Early on the morning of April 19th, he became hypertensive due to low blood pressure. He again went into cardiac arrest and slipped away from us. GURU died far too young but he was, and we are, proud of all his many legendary musical contributions. The family is not aware of any foundations established by GURU. We know and understand that countless fans want to express their condolences and love and, to that end, we are planning a memorial event in the near future that will be all-inclusive. FROM 1988-2004, WE EXPERIENCED SO MUCH SUCCESS TOGETHER THAT WE WERE ABLE TO EXPAND OUR BUSINESSES INDEPENDENTLY AND GIVE EACH OTHER WHAT GURU CALLED “CREATIVE SPACE”, BEFORE PLANNING TO REUNITE FOR OUR 7TH LP WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT. TRAGICALLY, WE WILL NEVER REACH THAT DAY.

Legendary Gangstarr artist Guru has succumbed to cancer after a lengthy bout with the disease. The artist, born Keith Elam, died on Monday April 19. He was 43 years old. Solar, Guru's partner, expressed sadness over the loss.

Rapper Dolla Murdered Just Two Hours After His First Tweets

About 13 hours ago, hip hop artist Dolla signed up for Twitter. He sent out a couple of tweets and presumably left to go to the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. I know this because he was shot and killed there shortly thereafter. One of the trending topics on Twitter right now is “RIP Dolla” and hundreds more messages are being directed at Dolla’s now-dormant account. It seems that he’s gained several hundred followers since his death and a lot of people are using the account to pay their respects to him. Source:TechCrunch

Dr. Dre’s Son, Dead at 20

Andre Romelle Young Jr., the son of rapper and pioneering hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, was found dead in his Woodland Hills, California, home Saturday morning, according to Dre’s representative. He was 20 years old.

An autopsy was conducted on Young’s body Monday, but a cause of death has not yet been determined, pending the results of a toxicology report, a representative for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office told MTV News. The coroner’s rep confirmed that an Andre Romelle Young Jr. passed away Saturday, but was uncertain if he was Dre’s son; Dre’s rep confirmed that information Tuesday (August 26).

Young was discovered in his bed at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday by his mother, who attempted to rouse him, the coroner’s spokesperson said. Young was unresponsive, so she called paramedics, who responded to the scene. After their efforts to revive him failed, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

R.I.P. To Isaac Hayes Who Has Passed Away At The Age Of 65

On August 10, 2008, Hayes’ wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his home located just east of Memphis, Tennessee. A Shelby County, Tennessee sheriff’s deputy responded to Hayes’ home. He was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08pm, at the age of 65. The cause of death was not immediately known.

This is such a tragic and twisted series of events that Isaac Hayes passed two days after Bernie Mac did being that they were suppose to be co-starring in a new movie along side Samuel L Jackson.

Bernie Mac Has Passed Away At The Age of 50 (R.I.P)

Comedian and Chicago native Bernie Mac died early Saturday morning from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist confirmed.

Mac, 50, had been hospitalized for about a week at Northwestern Hospital, according to his spokeswoman. A few years ago, Mac disclosed that he suffered from sarcoidosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often in the lungs.

Our condolences goes out to the Mac family and friends, this is definitely unexpected there wasn’t even any news about him being sick. He was most definitely the funniest of all the Kings Of Comedy. We would love to give you a full rundown of all Bernie Mac’s achievements and accolades but Wikipedia does a better job.

(R.I.P) Rapper Pimp C Found Dead in Hollywood Hotel Room

Pimp C, real name Chad Butler — and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.

UGK is best known for appearing on the Jay-Z track “Big Pimpin’” in 2000, and more recently with Outkast on the song “International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You).” Pimp C had just performed with fellow rapper Too Short at the “House of Blues” in L.A. on Saturday night.
