Expect To Hear Jay-Z and Lil Wayne on Drake’s “Nothing Was The Same”

Posted on August 20, 2013

September 17th is quickly approaching and anticipation for Drake's third effort “Nothing Was The Same” is growing by the day, it's easily one of the most anticipated Hip Hop albums of the year.

Last week Rolling Stone rolled out their Fall List of Albums you need to hear, Drake's new project was number 9 out of 17, that's in all genres not just Hip Hop. In the album preview it was confirmed that both Jay-Z & Lil Wayne will be appearing on the album.

“This album is about growth,” says the Toronto MC. “When I play it for people, they ask, ‘Who’s that rapping?’ I’m like, ‘That’s me.’”

Jay & Wayne appearances aren't that surprising though, nonetheless it's still exciting to hear what they have to offer. On the production side of things; Hudson Mohawke will be on the boards for at least one of the tracks on the album, should be interesting to hear what comes from a Dizzy and Hub Mo collaboration.

The next coming weeks will be all about Drizzy.
