Drake Responds Kendrick Lamar: “I Know Good and Well That Kendrick’s Not Murdering Me”

Drake is once again on the cover of Billboard magazine, they recently released a little snippet from their interview with Drizzy. He spoke about his fame, his highly anticipated upcoming album Nothing Was The Same, which hits stores on September 24.

Without a doubt though, the most interesting part about the interview is Drake's response to the question about Kindrick Lamar's Control verse.

Drake was very clear:

“I didn’t really have anything to say about it,” Drake says of the verse, which has so far inspired responses from A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, former Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson and too many others to count. “It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That’s all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”

Hmmm, lets see how this plays out in the coming months. One thing you can always count on is rappers letting their egos get the best of them, no matter how mature or level headed they may be.
