The boy Drizzy Drake Rogers continues to expand his OVO brand, his “Octobers Very Own” label has found it’s home. Drake and his producer Noah “40” Shebib will be heading up their label at Warner Bros.
As of right now Drake is still signed to Universal Records as a solo artist under the YMCMB umbrella. It’s a bit odd that the label didn’t find it’s home at Universal, I’m sure it’s in their best interest to oblige Drake, could be something there.
The OVO brand is already pretty strong and becoming even more viable, with their annual summer music fest, branded clothing line and now, the label.
This leaves the question of what role Drake will play in the YMCMB brand moving forward.
