Eminem on The Cover Of Vibe Magazine

Eminem on the cover of VIBE magazine, which is funny because the Editor and Chief is somewhat of a racist, though I find it hard to believe that a black racist exist. But anyways this is the same magazine that said Robin Thicke couldn’t be on the cover because he was white even though he makes black music. I don’t really care about of this race shit there is far more important this to worry about but it was a thought that just popped in my head as I’m writing this and I just went with it.

Back to the topic at hand, so Em is on the cover of VIBE and we also have his final tracklist below for his upcoming album Relapse.

As long as em id doing what he does there are going to be black racist. Im sure Cowboy troy upsets some of my White people. the same as em bugs some black folks.

I love all aspects of music and every talented individual is entitled to their own happiness and if a musical influence leads to your happiness then take it and run with it.

If rap isn’t about black or white, then I wonder if white rap fans would mind if black people simply disappeared from the rap scene–left it behind and did something else. Invented a new, hip language and let white rappers have the whole rap scene to themselves, so they could bust their (black) moves and talk their (black) language without any actual black people around either to certify them as “real” hiphoppers or to make them feel guilty for not quite being real enough. Would that be OK?

Of course not. Rap is all about black and white. Eminem is about a white guy being as good as, or better than, the black guys. His sizzle, his cred, is all about the blackness that frames him and makes his particular kind of excellence possible. Eminem wouldn’t exist without the black rappers who preceded him and made him possible.

      Get real.
