Here’s the problem with dating a porn star: they do pornography. You would think this is an obvious point, but Vince is caught off guard in this week’s episode of “Entourage” when his girlfriend, Sasha, reveals that she was offered $200,000 to star in a new adult film and she’s probably going to take the gig. No movie star likes to share.
Vince’s relationship troubles are just one of several inevitable outcomes this week. Turtle, for instance, has again allowed his business ambition to get ahead of his brains and demand of Avion tequila, stoked by a used car-style hard sell, has outpaced supply. Turtle’s solution: raise $5 million from investors to build another factory.
Candidate No. 1 is Ari, who has not time to entertain hair-brained schemes because he’s dealing with the personal and professional fallout of Lizziegate. First Jerry Jones of the Cowboys scolds him, and now Mrs. Ari can’t believe her husband said those awful things to his co-workers. Really? This is the same guy who drops homophobic remarks like they’re common prepositions. The guy who was dealmaking during his daughters’ bat mitzvah. The pampered life has a way of dulling the critical senses.
Drama might soon have the millions to invest, if he would only agree to star in Billy Walsh’s animated gorilla project, “Johnny’s Bananas.” Phil Yagoda tells Eric that the network is hot for the idea. But even the long wished for chance to star in his own series can’t convince Drama to play an angry ape, and Eric spends the rest of the episode trying to convince his client otherwise. The Chase brothers need to get out of their own way.
