A little over a month after the release of his debut album, Nerd’s Eye View, Bay Area emcee Erk Tha Jerk has been certified as a Clear Channel “New! Artist To Watch,” providing tangible evidence of Erk’s rising popularity and widespread acclaim. As a result of his new title, his profilehas been posted on the websites of 50 radio stations across the country including KISS, Power105 and more, including regular supporter and Bay Area powerhouse 106 KMEL.

Coinciding with this event is the release of his new video for “Ha Ha,” a track from the record featuring London, who provides the song’s infectious hook. Shot by Clay & Magz in collaboration with Erk, who handles direction for all of his own videos, the clip shows Erk and London living the good life, lounging at bars and cruising the streets in high end cars while London’s vocals marinate over the beat’s smooth instrumentation and heavy drums. “Laughing at all of my haters/ Watching my shine, climbing up to the top” sings London, while Erk shares his own confidence with lines like, “This is something I was born with, you cannot inherit that.”
