Its just the way he runs his companies. Are they successful, yes. Are they successful as they could be, no. He’s on the same track with the iPhone/iPod as he was/is with the Mac OS and devices. He’s done nothing but steadily lose market share this year but contends that they don’t have any competition.

I know all about the history which would be too much to go into detail about in comments, but whether he stole ideas is besides the fact. He made it what it is today, the same Mark has made Facebook what it is today whether he stole it or not. The idea of this site was stolen too but it doesn’t change the fact that now my site is 3 times the size of the site I originally got the idea from. Some call it stealing some call it competing, whatever. I didn’t say he was pioneer in all the things mentioned just that he has his hands in them.

Still not clear on why he’s a dumbass, just say you don’t like him that would make more sense and would justify the initial comment. Can’t believe I’m even defending Jobs I’m not even a Apple person, the only thing I have Apple related is a iPhone, oh and I’m about to pickup a Mac not because I like it but because I want Keynote & iMovie and for some web design, flash compatibility purposes as well.

But I digress, what were we talking about? Oh yeah why is he a dumbass? Hmmm still not established…..

Alright, so lets go into the history books. Jobs was not a pioneer in many of these things that you are talking about. He stole an idea from Xerox and then due to his forced closed architecture he basically brought his own company to its knees. Now, yes, he came back with another idea that he took from somewhere else and has created a company with basically 1 product.

Now maybe he’s not a dumbass to all the dumbasses that blindly follow him but for those of us that choose to have some say in the products we buy, then he is a dumbass. SMH.

You’re casting a pretty wide net there. That’s like saying that since I use the internet, then I’m connected to Apple products. I’m also connected to Kevin Bacon with that logic.

I definitely don’t interact with Apple on a regular basis.
