Goodie Mob returns with a new song called ‘Is That You God’, which will be featured in the upcoming movie “The Obama Effect” in select cities July 13th.
The fact that I’m even posting a Goodie Mob joint is pretty dope, the first time I heard Goodie – the internet was owned by AOL and Bill Clinton didn’t get a blow job yet.
I wasn’t even living in the US yet and I knew these who these guys were. Who would have guessed 20 years later Cee-Lo Green would completely stop rapping all together and cross over into what people don’t even bother categorizing, they just simply call it dope.
Now the Mob has reunited and here I am a lifetime later interacting with their music in a completely different way.
Cee-Lo Green was sort-of-kinda rapping on this one.
