Friday night before the premiere of his “Picasso Baby“ performance art film on HBO, he joined Bill Maher (for the second time) on his show which was the last show of the season. It was a great interview that lasted over 30 minutes, in which Jay-Z talks about in new number one album “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” The first thing discussed was the opening track “Holy Grail“ featuring Justine Timberlake, which is Jay-Z talking about his biggest drug in music being fame.
Bill and Jay also talked about the little beef between Hov and Harry Belafonte, who voiced his opinion on Jay not doing enough for the urban communities.
In addition to that Bill also brought up the fact that in 7 years Jay-Z will be eligible for the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, since it would be the 25th anniversary of his debut album “Reasonable Doubt.”
Naturally Jay wants to be inducted by Barack Obama.
Jay also chopped it up with the rest of the panel about Public housing, being poor, and problems with the police.
Check out the interview.
