Music video from Lil Wayne for the lead single “6 Foot, 7 Foot” from his ninth studio album The Carter IV. It was produced by “A Milli” producer Bangladesh. The song samples from “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)” by Harry Belafonte. The song features Cory Gunz who is the newest signee to Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label, Cory Gunz was also featured on the similiar sounding “A Milli” record.
The music video is directed by Hype Williams, the video displays clear influences from the films “The Fighter” and “Inception”.

Technically you’re right, but in matters of intellectual property rights the credit goes to Harry Belafonte’s version and that’s who the royalties are credited to.

This Video Was Inspired By That Movie “Inception” With DeCaprio. I Really Love The Beat, But I’ve Been Grown Sick Of Lil Wayne’s Lack Of Content, So I Don’t Lyke It Much. I Only Bump It Because Cory Gunz Is On It, I Feel He Did Better Then Wayne. The Video Was On Point Tho, Nice Job!
