During Saturday night’s Cash Money Grammy weekend party Lil Wayne made the annoucement that Christina Milan had signed to YMCMB.
Weezy also gave a freestyle after giving his big announcement, where he took shots at Jay-Z, saying “I met a red-bone, I took the girl home/I asked her what she wanna watch, she said, ‘surely not The Throne.”
Just for the simple fact that he took the extra step to put a line together shows that he acknowledges the success of the album, not to mention that he cancelled his collaboration album with Drake because how successful Watch The Throne had become.
Though I’m sure they just waiting for Watch The Throne to die down then they make their run.
