Okay as someone who LOVES hip-hop and can even rock out with the best of them when it comes to alternative and rock music…THIS SONG IS GARBAGE.
I get what they were trying to do, but no real rock fan will like it. It’s not authentic, it’s very forced with no real passion behind it.
But I guess as long as Wayne and Minaj’s die hard fans continue to buy into this crap they will continue to give us this failed effort at music.

I bought this album when it first came out. I loved it for a few reasons.
1. its different for lil wayne which means he took a risk. he didn’t just go to college get a desk job and crash and burn with the economy. he took a risk.
2. the energy is needed. im tired of 88 bpms with a club anthem. rock is watered down too I listen and the shit is robotic thats why wayne was able to do this if rock was on their shit they wouldn’t be third behind hip hop and country
3. content and arrangements. perfect 4 min rock song for the radio and people will say who’s that its cool, or its funny, or its wack, or wateva and someone will say oh that’s lil wayne on a rock station. MONEY

I’m a hardcore rocker from South Africa… When I say hardcore I mean like I listen to stuff that makes bands like Slipknot sound like pussy’s… But not just screaming, instrumentals are a big part in heavy music… Any way… I heard this song on the radio today and I heard Nicki’s voice during the chorus and it sounded like something from the music I listen to (metal also has a calm side to it)… another thing is that this song is purely commercial… made to make money… I mean look at the lyrics… no meaning…
So finally from my(the rocker crowd side) would like to say that NONE of us would ever buy something like this…
BUT I would defiantly pay to hear Nicki’s ‘chorus’ voice in metal…
