Puff and I actually liked Max B, I wish I could have signed him. That’s whole other story. However what I will say is the beat was originally for Puff for the Biggie Duets, actually was supposed to be a single. Then Cool and Dre, weeks after having the beat, their manager at time said she sold the beat to LA Reid. Fast forward it was a single for Christina Milian. It was brought up in a interview, where someone said they heard Joe bumping a Lil Wayne collaboration in his whip. I've been checking for the track ever since, and now it's finally arrived. "She Don't Put It Down Like You" features a verse from Lil Wayne & Tank on the hook, with T-Minus on the boards. A beat like this is begging for a Drake verse, he shines on these type of records. Nonetheless it's a pretty hot track, and just in case you were wondering Joe killed Wayne on this.

Gunplay – Rap Sheet

Earlier we reported that Gun Play was in the hands of the authorities, but now the MMG member offers up a new track called "Rap Sheet" which serves as a PSA addressing all the current charges against him. Yesterday Angela Yee from Power 105.1 reported that Gunplay is being sought out by police for armed robbery and assault charges, for which he turned himself in. Now the Smoking Section is reporting that Gunplay didn't actually turn himself in, and is still scheduled to perform on Friday at the A3C Hip-Hop Festival in Atlanta. This doesn't mean he won't turn himself in days leading up to the even or after. In the meantime check out his new track "Rap Sheet." “Your rap sheet ain’t longer than your gun. Check mine!”

New music from ZZ Ward titled "Cryin Wolf" featuring Kendrick Lamar. I thought this was the first time I ever rocked with anything from ZZ Ward but I have heard her elsewhere but didn't really take notice. She had a track with Freddie Gibbs on her last EP and she also did a record with Asher Roth on his Pabst & Jazz mixtape, so she's very Hip-Hop affiliated. Her style is a cross between Country-Blues pleasantly blended with acoustic elements. The result is something slightly similar to Adelle's sound. When I first heard the beat I wondered how Kendrick would tackle it, but then beat hits a climax and sets the perfect tone for Hii Power to come in and kill, and he does. "Cryin Wolf" is from ZZ Ward's debut album Til The Casket Drops, drops October 16, 2012. Thoughts?
