It’s been 2 years since Lupe Fiasco’s last album Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, he’s now readying his forthcoming fifth studio effort. The Chi-town MC begins the promotion with a new single entitled “Mission,” which focuses on battling various forms of cancer.
Like his past socially conscious records, Lupe manages to bring attention to a serious issue in an entertaining context which is really the key to conscious tracks being effective.
Lupe’s new album Tetsuo & Youth will be released later this year.
