Rihanna releases her new single called “Diamonds” which will reside on her upcoming 7th album which is speculated to be called 7 World Wonders but has not been officially announced.
This song sounds very different from the RiRi we’ve been listening to for the past couple of months, you know…The Talk That Talk RiRi.
She sounds more mature on this record in terms of lyrics, although the artwork shows does her rolling Diamonds into a joint.
The lyrics themselves though seem much more intriquete than what we’ve been getting from Rihanna the past couple years.
Find light in the beautiful sea
I choose to be happy
You and I, you and I
We’re like diamonds in the sky
No Birthday Cake, no Cockiness in those lines.
I’m interested in hearing what else comes from Rihanna’s seventh project, if it displays growth, I hope it’s the right type of growth.
