After announcing his new deal with Universal Republic, The Weeknd debuts the mixed and mastered version of “Wicked Games,” the first single off his major-label debut Trilogy.
The song originally appeared his 2011 breakout mixtape “House of Balloons,” but has now been redone and shortened by a minute.
His Trilogy project will inlude mixed and mastered versions of all the cuts from all 3 mixtapes “House of Balloons,” “Thursday,” and “Echoes of Silence,” as well as newly recorded material.
This is similar yo what happened with Drake, another and Canadian who’s debut mixtape “So Far Gone” became such a huge hit that it was re-released as an album.
