I too lived in the hood and witnessed the terrible violence by the Police and yes, by the hands of our own people, but the snithcing Nas is referring to is probably not what you and most people associate with the “stop snitching” movement….. It sounds like he was referring to the J E Hoover / COINTELPRO era. You know, when Black people (BPP) tried making strides in improving our hoods and how snitching played a part in breaking down the movement…. Hell, snitching has a long history within Black people’s struggle for freedom… How you think Nat Turner got caught when he tried fighting for our freedom? Before we judge Nas, listen to his message…… Say something Relevant? Have you been listening to any of his music in the past couple of years? Peace!

I fuckin’ hate the “stop snitching” movement.fucking irresponsible of Nas to push this bullshit. If you’ve lived in the hood an seen your family members, classmates and friends, neighbors robbed, shot and killed, this ignorant shit would irritate you as it does me. this shit that pervades in our neighbourhood is fucking killing us.This ignorant shit wouldn’t roll in white neighborhoods.why the fuck would i want a dude up in my block selling crack??..why the fuck would I tolerant a “gangsta” pimping out underage girls? these are the real ass issues that go down in the ‘hood. Anyone who think that BS is gangsta, probably never had ‘hood shit happen to ppl close to them. this fucking”snitch” tag should be removed from individuals trying to make our’hoods better and liveable. I got my ass out once i got my education. Anyone who glorifies the ‘hood is either stupid or never lived there and saw the fucking craziness that it is. I did. I buried too many homeboys and friends before the age of 19 , shot at by Mofos I didnt even know!! Saw girls with great futures and even greater physical beauty turn into crack heads and hoes. How the fuck would anyone wanna wish that on anyone? The clincher is Nas AIN’T EVEN HOOD!!..His dad was a well off musician who sent him to good schools and shit. muthahubbard should shut his fucking bitch ass mouth on the snitch issue or say something relevant to our communities, cos ppl really dying out there, for real
