Nelly speakin on Hip Hop is like awarding George Bush the Noble peace prize? That bama need to go make another drill tip vid. and leave the commentary alone! Sadly, unlike GoGo, Blues, Country, and Jazz the Hip Hop community has no respect for it’s originators. I will admit Ice needs to have a little more class when speakin to the youngsters. On the real though, Ice put in mad work (breakin and all that), 6 in Morning, Colors, Rhme Pays, NJ Hustler…$yndicate Fool!

Man you just called Nelly a Bama and Im willing to bet money you a East Coast Nigga, I aint got a problem with the East but yall niggaz attitudes are fucked up. Trill talk I aint never been a Nelly fan for real but I have recently began to respect him as a real nigga, a huSTLa, and a artists. If you aint know Im from The North Side S.T.L. The reason I aint never like Nelly’s music is because I didn’t feel like he spoke for St.Louis, anybody that has been to St.Louis city will tell you this is probably the grimiest city in America and we still have the highest murder rate (you can go google that shit take ya time, I’ll wait). Anyway Nelly may not focus his music on that gutter life but shit, now I feel like he shouldn’t have to, he from that, just like Chingy, that nigga from the same area Im from Walnut Park better known as Murdaville. As far as KRS 1 and Ice T, both people I highly respect, they should have not tried to come at a whole different generation on the level of making music or dissing them on the internet. Kris is Hip Hops teacher and he should have acted like one and pulled Nelly to the side and expressed what he had to say to that man and Ice T should have done Soldier Boy the same way and I agree with both of their points to a certain extent but you dont scold a child in front of their peers, that will get you put in your place. And I support Nelly because he aint like a lot of these rappers that run to Atlanta and act like its home. And next time you feel like callin a St.Louis Nigga a Bama go look at a map because we aint nowhere in the south. Fucks me up acting like yall don’t talk funny as fuck anyway, you niggas dont use proper diction either muh-fucka, thats them West coast “Gangsters” that talk all proper and shit, lol.

Ahight, ahight..let me get on this shit one time for ya. I mean, personally..I’m not a big Nelly fan either, but I do like a “couple” of songs by him, can’t lie on that. Why is this dude still addressing that issue. Itz been said and done. Ice cleared the smoke on that shit a while back. The thing about the next movement of “this” hip-hop generation is that noone wants to take on the responsibility on bein’ a role model for the youth. Believe it or not, when these artists are up on TV sayin’ all this unecessary materialistic shit, you’re jus’ settin’ them up for failure. They wanna be that artist and they wanna be it now..not when they graduate from high school or college, but “now.” They want what the hottest rapper is wearin’ or what he/she is drivin’ around in. There’s no substance in this generation of music, jus’ gimmicks. Half these rappers are broke, but TV makes them look real good, na’mean? Back in the day, it was all about originality. What happened to that shit? Itz like everybody sounds the same because the industry has the artists doin’ whatz hot at the moment. The really good shit hardly gets played on radio anymore. To shorten this shit up, this Midwest Bama can’t speak on whatz right and wrong in the industry. I mean, some of the stuff he said is true, I’ll give him that, but at the same time, play your role because when your records stop sellin’ you gon’ be sittin’ in the back talkin’ ’bout what happen? Or are you already sayin’ that? Get your mind right in the game and recognize whatz really goin’ on. I mean, the ringtone thing is all sweet and shit for the one time wonders, but then mufuckaz get all mad when peoplez start to label them, “ringtone rappers”. Who are they rappin’ for..the people or a fuckin’ phone company? LoL

I don’t know what coast chingy or Husayn is repping for but I co-sign what they scripting…Nelly isn’t relevant in the rap game and quite honestly him siding with souljah boy is proving case in point. also this shit is old anyway souljah boy ain’t speaking on it any more so why is nelly? oh and by the way I’m from the south in case anybody wanna question that, just because Nelly from the south doesn’t mean he automatically gets a pass. put tha south in ya mouth ya dig

South, East, West Pssshh are you fucking kidding me? Are these grown men talking?? These idiots ALWAYS rep their city sooo hard but NONE of these bitches do shit for their community. All That hard talk & I’ll bet $$$ these “goons” still live w/ their parents. I’m embarrassed of being born in this generation of shit-for-brains. For instance, check the 4th imbecile above me (( Dub S.G. )) This muh-fucka talks about his city being the highest murder rate, like it’s something to be proud of. That’s why his stupid ass is probably going to end up in a box, along w/ his other idiot friends. How gangsta is that ? LMAO

I don’t usually respond to these things but I have to, you guys are so funny. First of all, i don’t think anybody heard what was really going on in the interview. The reporter asked Nelly what he thought about what’s going on, that’s why Nelly spoke on it. Second, what does what he said have to do with what coast you come from? Music is music and the great thing about hip hop is that we have had so many different styles that we have been able to keep it alive. Remember when people were saying that it was just a fad? We’re still going strong, 20 plus years.
Basically, I agree with eRa’s comment. Having the highest murder rate is nothing to be proud of. We’re black people not animals. I think a lot of you miss the point of hip hop and what’s really going on. It starts with knowledge. Maybe you guys should educate your minds and LISTEN, you’d learn a lot. Its funny because I read all the comments before I watched the interview and besides eRa’s comments, none of you guys got it. Its crazy, you missed the point completely. If you guys would listen, you’d probably stop hating.

Nelly can eat a dick straight up. He aint hip hop. He pop. He fence-sitting like them other house niggaz who dont wanna diss Soulja TOY and lose their 13 year old record buying fans. Fuck you Nelly – and them wack ass St Lunatic garbage crew. Straight up.
