If you’ve heard Boss A*s B***h Remix, Lookin A*s N***a, My N***a (Remix), Danny Glover (Remix), Senile, or Chi-Raq, then it should be pretty obvious that Nicki Minaj is back on her rapping ish heavy. As of late N***a is sounding like a 2006 Southside Jamaica Queens Nicki Minaj (aka Nicki the ninja).
The question is, will this continue onto her new album “The Pink Print” or will it be another Pop/Rap (mostly Pop) album like her previous efforts?
Nicki answers that question while sitting down MTV to promote her new film, The Other Woman, Nicki says that The Pink Print is her return to her Hip Hop roots.
I went so far to the other side that there’s only one place to go from there. You can either continue doing costumes or you can just say, ‘Hey guess what? This will shock them even more. Doing nothing will shock them even more.’
The tracks on Pink Print are back to my hip-hop roots. And I don’t think it’s something that I’m necessarily trying to do. As soon as I started working on my new album, that’s just the songs that I’ve been writing.
