Not sure what’s going on with Nicki Minaj but her music is just off right now, this final version Marilyn Monroe is not a bad record but there’s just nothing special about it. Nicki might be succumbing to that sophomore pressure.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a song like this from Nicki. I actually think it’s a great example of how versatile she is.
Drake has shown this same characteristic in his Take Care album.
The boy can rap and sing on the side.
It’s a bonus.
And yeah, some of us like the Hard Core stuff, but some songs to hit the spot don’t hurt either.
A song like this is light on the auto-tune and sounds so natural.

I can’t say I agree.
I think it’s special just by being different from her usual heavy bass and beats.
Every song written by an artist you enjoy is special, it just may not be special to YOU, but I know that personally, this song is special to me.
