Up until this point Nicki Minaj has been very polite about Lil’ Kim dissing her, she’s called Lil Kim a icon in interviews, showed love on many occasions. Even in this most recent interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97 VIP Lounge, she said Lil Kim influenced her. That’s before she threw Kim under the bus, I mean way under.

Thus far after two listens, the album is forgettable. I held expectations since I personally think albums as a whole in any genre typically do not live up to what we imagine but nonetheless, the album was played and not a song stuck with me after either listen. She’ll be praised for the Eminem feature but I still consider the best put together song on the album, “Your Love.”
Lyrically she has talent and it can’t be denied but as a cohesive project, the album doesn’t come together as it could’ve and in retrospect, based on what people may have imagined, it should’ve been a cohesive project. Overall, the album probably won’t receive another listen but that’s my opinion…others will surely beg to differ.

Okaii let’s start with Kim. Lil Kim, is a true LEGEND she has paved the way for many female rappers but I think she has lost it since Biggie left she jus doesn’t do as good in the music like she used to. Like that song with T-Pain, Download, was jus beneath Kim she can do way better then that. Next,Nicki has her own talent. True she may have some of Kim’s style with the colored wigs, Barbie title, and clothing options but they are rapping about two totally different things for real for real. Nicki Minaj pretty much put Kim in her grave. Nicki isn’t that much younger than Kim, what 8yrs?!? It is so disappointing to see in this day and age individuals believing that only they can be on top. Tehre is room for everyone. It would have been very mature of Lil Kim to reach out as a mentor to Nicki and maybe become relevant again. Yet instead, she took the immature route. Stop stepping on each other and learn to work together. Its a matter of perspective that Nicki is copying her style. Another person might even say she doing it better. The 13 year old has a good point. Personally I think Nicki is way overrated but opinions are opinions but Kim wants relevancy in a game that has forgotten about her and she is going about it the wrong way. Instead of beef reach out to Nicki and make music together I can picture a great song that they can do together the reason why there aren’t as many femmcees is because femcees hate each other.
