This week, “Starships”, sold 174k copies, surpassing the million needed for platinum certification, and it is believed to be her most successful single since “Superbass”.
In addition her new single ‘Right By My Side‘ featuring Chris Brown is the most added song on radio this week.
Right By My Side I can understand but Starships, Really? There’s 1 million plus people out there that actually like that ?
I had to go back and give it a another listen to make sure I wasn’t trippin, and nope it’s still trash. But I guess once you’ve crossed over into pop land, some things get lost in translation for us Hip-Hop fans.
