Tehmeena Afzal, more commonly known as Meena, is a Queens native who got her start in the entertainment biz as a entrepreneur before her modeling career took off.
“I used to own one of the biggest mixtape websites”
Meena explained in an interview with 24HourHipHop.com.
“Back then I was the only female doing something like that and it put my face out there. Once people started hearing about what I was doing, they featured me in magazines or on their mixtape covers.”
In 2008 Meena was featured in Bachelor Magazine’s 20 Sexiest Women of the Year, on Kanye West’s website, as well as King Magazine’s Web Girl of the Week.
In addition she was featured in a slew of Hip Hop music videos.
