In case you forgot Pusha T dropped a record “Exodus 23:1,” which everyone took as a diss to Lil Wayne and maybe even Drake, Weezy replied with a very weak joint called "Ghoulish." The general consensus was that the track was trash, adding insult to injury Pusha T a month later released a killer track with Kanye West called "New God Flow" which generated even more buzz for Push. Then there was the release of Cruel Summer. He's obviously going at Wayne on this one as well. Thoughts?

While in New York, T.I. stops by the The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 to chop it up with the crew for a little while. He was in good spirits and it's a 360 from when he was up there the last time. During the interview T.I. talks about finally having the freedom to make the type of music he couldn't make while going through his legal troubles. He talks about the state of mind he was in during that period and how he's no longer in that space. Throughout the interview he makes it clear that T.I.P is back though he does try to make a conscious effort to maintain a humble spirit. During his recording process of putting together his new "Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head" album, T.I. recorded 100+ songs. From he's saying some of those songs will make it onto the follow up album "Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown," which he says is coming soon. T.I. seems to be restored and back to a place where many said he could never be, he has a good album out, big records and by the looks of it, he's just getting warmed up.

VH1 held their annual Divas concert series last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. They celebrated the careers and legacy of two of the most historic divas in Whitney Houston and Donna Summer. They both passed away this year, so the tribute makes perfect sense. Jordan Sparks, Melanie Fiona and Ledsi were picked to perform Whitney’s classic hits while Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson and Adam Lambert performed in honor of Donna Summer. Other performances included Ciara performing Billie Jean and Got Me Good, Metric, Pitbull, Natasha Bedingfield, Iggy Azalea, Bootsy Collins and Miley Cyrus.

Over the summer Young Jeezy was named the Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records, so it makes sense now that he would move his move his record label CTE to his new home. Jezzy will be heading up the new venture alongside Atlantic chairman Craig Kallman. When asked about the recent departure of Freddie Gibbs from CTE, Jeezy had this to say: "Freddie is a talented artist and I decided that it's time to press reset on my career and business ventures. I have no doubt that Freddie will go on to be everything I believe he can be, and I wish him the best in his career." It's a good move for Jeezy and CTE but would really like to know what lead to Gibbs leaving. Thoughts?
