Say what you want about Rick Ross, love him or hate him — both he and his Maybach Music Group imprint pretty much owned this year. Ross had the first quarter on lock with the Rich Forever mixtape, then Meek Mill followed up with Dreamchasers 2, that owned the summer with over 2 million downloads in it’s first 2 days of release.
After that MMG released their second group album “Self Made Vol. 2” and then Rick Ross released his now certified gold album “God Forgives, I Don’t.”
The 4th quarter is now officially upon us and they are not slowing down, as MMG plans to release Wale’s “I Ain’t Perfect” in December as well as the debut studio album by Meek “Mill Dreams & Nightmares” on Halloween Eve;
This would be enough for any major label, but Rozay doesn’t think so.
Earlier today, he himself announced via Twitter that he plans to release his newest mixtape entitled “The Black Bar Mitzvah.”
With all this new beef that’s been sparked between MMG, G-Unit and CTE you can expect this tape will be fully loaded with ammo for all the rivals.
I’m looking forward to it.
