T.I. Won’t Be Charged In L.A. Drug Arrest, Still Guilty Of Parole Violation

Posted by & filed under Hip Hop Gossip, Hip Hop News.

TMZ is reporting that T.I. won’t be charged in L.A. drug arrest, but he’s still guilty of parole violation, which is really all the LAPD wanted to accomplished anyway.

According to the D.A.’s Office, they are not going forward with charges because, in essence, he’s already been sentenced to prison since the arrest was a violation of his federal probation.

However, law enforcement sources tell TMZ, there were significant legal issues over probable cause which led to T.I.’s arrest.

Cops claimed they smelled marijuana but no pot was ever booked into evidence. And, we’re told… T.I. was pulled out of his $250,000 Maybach immediately after he made the illegal U-turn and prior to any registration check.

It has been on record regarding task forces on patrol solely for Black entertainers (rappers namely), but that doesn’t negate the erroneous situations Hip-Hop artists place themselves in. We tend to cry foul when police officers are involved and there are many justifications and valid reasons behind the disdain towards police officials, but I can’t find sympathy at times when I read stories involving artists and the troubles that follow. They simply need better judgment and it’s rather saddening to know he was just released and still found himself in the midst of an incident that would violate his parole.

Doesn’t anyone in his circle of friends or family express concern with regards to him being out of all activities able to lead to criminal violation?

I don’t know about ya but going back to jail because you fucked up on a U-turn…Is utter non-sense.

The police worrying more about a rapper making a mistake on a turn rather than cleaning up the ghetto? Or other significant things around the area?

And the cops were following him at that? Isnt that a form of harassment, especially sense they went straight to the arrest without checking registration? Cmon man we know those cops were fucked up, they were just lookin for some fame cuz there life full of shit
