“The Warning” will be released on 11-6-2012 and it marks the debut album from producer JP Beats whose past works include tracks with Dr. Dre, Jadakiss, Pete Rock, Kurupt, Canibus, and many more. JP Beats has teamed up with A&R Extraordinaire M-Eighty (Wu-Tang /Undergods/ Kurupt/Planet Asia etc) to bring fans the same level of lyrical intensity and diverse line-ups they have come to expect from “Wu-Tang Meets…” & “The Academy” backed with soundscapes of production impresario JP Beats. “The Warning” features 16-tracks and all brand new collaborations from the likes of Busta Rhymes, T.I., Young Buck, George Clinton, Royce the 5’9”, Kurupt, Sean Price, Boots Riley (The Coup), Canibus, Planet Asia, Tragedy Khadafi, Cappadonna, and many more. “The Warning” will be released on November 6th on both physical and digital formats via D.R.E / Holy Toledo Productions.

Canibus treats his fans to another strong release off his latest album C of Tranquility, dropping October 5th onInterdependent Media. The album will feature prduction from DJ Premier, Jake One, The ARE, Scram Jones, Tha Bizness, and D/R Period. The second single, appropriately titled "Merchant of Metaphors," opens up with strings that conjure up images of opium dens and old Asian merchants. Produced by The ARE, Canibus uses the track to peddle out the barbed lyrics he's so well known for, all the while conjuring up an intricate tale for the audience. The emcee paints a picture congruent with the track's Far East settings, as he raps about sipping tea, meditation, and the separation of mind and body. Canibus' peaceful surroundings are interrupted by a meeting with rivals who declare that Canibus "Can not save hip-hop," with the rapper vowing to prove his adversaries wrong. With a lyrical assault so sharp it cuts right through the smoky beat, it sounds like Canibus just may be the man for the job.
