Any hope of Vince pulling out of the nosedive he’s been on all season were dashed in last night’s season finale of “Entourage” — an episode that was bookended by bags of cocaine.

The finale picks up where last episode left off — Lloyd has found a giant bag of coke at Vince’s house, and everyone’s favorite meal ticket has gone missing. This prompts a flurry of cell-phone acting to locate him. It also leaves Ari in the lurch because Vince agreed to show up at his kid’s little league game. One more reason to be on Mrs. Ari’s s*** list after Ari’s restaurant outburst.

Vince eventually turns up looking dirty and disheveled on the set of Sasha’s latest porn movie (well, the box cover shoot anyway). He demands to meet Sasha’s ex-boyfriend/co-star and makes the inevitable scene about how his girlfriend shouldn’t be having sex with other guys, followed by an ultimatum: do the movie and it’s over. By now it’s obvious Sasha doesn’t respond well to limitations on her behavior.

Drama, meanwhile, has organized an A&E-style intervention for Vince at his mansion. Inattendance are Ari, Eric, Billy Walsh, Drama, Scott and Turtle, who has spent the episode thus far trying unsuccessfully to organize enough investor money to ward off Mark Cuban’s purchase of Avion tequila. When Vince shows, he throws a petulant fit about having his behavior questioned — seven seasons of the entourage enabling him and catering to his every whim aren’t going to be re-written in one scene. “I know you all need me,” Vince says, perhaps understanding for the first time the extent to which his friends have lived off him, but I don’t need you. And with that he’s AWOl again. One note before moving on from the scene: Scott reveals to Eric that he’s enacting a plan to oust Murray, the man who got Eric the job. Eric can join in the coup or be left in the cold.

There’s an overdue realization taking place in Ari’s marriage, too. Mrs. Ari, despite the mansion, the cars and the fancy friends, has discovered what she really wants a husband who doesn’t have a cell phone implanted to his ear and who doesn’t scream at everyone like a lunatic. Ari has a big party planned for her 40th birthday that he hopes will smooth everything over. Despite a suggestion to cancel from guest star John Cleese, Ari pushes forward in typical style. He hires Christina Aguilera to sing, bribes his sister-in-law to get Mrs. Ari out of the house for a few hours and assembles the guests — only to receive a phone call from his wife to inform him that she needs a break and is taking the kids to her mother’s house.

Which brings us to the final moments of season seven. Vince checks into the Roosevelt hotel, where he continues his downward spiral by snorting coke and drinking. He hears about an Eminem party. He goes. He makes a complete ass of himself with Minka Kelly, propositioning her for sex two seconds after introducing himself. That approach may work with trashy groupies but not Derek Jeter’s girlfriend. Drama shows up to take Baby Bro home but it’s too late. When Minka tries to have Vince removed, a fight breaks out and he’s beaten down by Eminem and the beefy security dudes. Looks like Vince won’t be tarting that Peter Berg film anytime soon.

Everyone gathers at the hospital. Vince has the same reaction to this summit as he did the intervention. But he’s not going anywhere. A cop is standing behind him, holding up a bag of coke that clearly belonged to everyone’s favorite move star.

Let’s call this one my dinner with Ari. Make that a completely unhinged Ari. We didn’t see this one coming and its impact was all the better for it. Ari blew up at Amanda Daniels during his quiet-time dinner with Mrs. Ari in front of the Lords of Hollywood on this week’s episode of ‘Entourage.’

Everyone got to see the boorish and sexist behavior of Ari up close as he demeaned Amanda over the release of the Lizzie Grant tapes.

But … Amanda then told Ari that she didn’t release the tapes; a former assistant of Ari who was working for her did and she was in fact working to get NFL deal back on track for Ari. The result is Ari is exposed as a sexist bully in front of Los Angeles and he and his ashamed wife go home separately.

This was a great scene, nicely shot, briskly paced and smartly acted. We loved the cell phone in the bathroom angle, a wonderful homage to ‘The Godfather,’ and the side story with Vince and Sasha was a great build-up to the Ari-Amanda clash. Incidentally, this week’s episode was directed by Kevin Connolly (Eric).

Perhaps the bigger picture here is Ari’s not being able to head an agency on his own. There have been a few tell-tale signs — he often looks more frazzled than usual and there problems in the office, like unpaid checks — but the blowup at Wolfgang’s is a culmination for the volatile Ari. It’s strikes us that maybe Ari doesn’t have quite the right skill set required to run TMA. He needs to be more of a politician instead of a brute, but brutish behavior is all he knows, apparently.

Speaking of brutes, Drama is finally on board with the ‘Johnny’s Bananas’ animated series. He was coaxed along by Eric’s assistant Jennie (Janet Montgomery) this episode, and there seems to be a little chemistry between the two. The scene when Drama finally signs on was nicely played. Drama never realized Phil Yagoda and Lloyd had planned a big presentation to entice him to sign up for the series; he missed his own party, in a way.

We got a few questions answered this week about Alex’s mysterious family friend, Carlos, and why he doesn’t want to immediately move ahead with the marketing of the family’s tequila. His older brother is the majority stockholder and he’s afraid he’ll sell it out of the family. Turtle — who’s looking very buff lately — moved ahead with a meeting with Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban about the tequila, but this enraged Carlos, who then explained the facts of the family business to Turtle.

Meanwhile, the downward spiral of Vince continues. He’s insisting on getting girlfriend Sasha Grey a role in ‘Air-Walker.’ We’ve nothing against porn stars, but is it really appropriate for an adult film star to have a role in a superhero film? Vince pleaded the case to new ‘Air-Walker’ director Peter Berg, who agrees to test her. Berg is playing himself as a no-nonsense kind of guy, similar to Nick Cassavetes, the director whose strong-arm personality led Vince into this mess in the first place. And when we say mess, we’re referring to the big bag of white powder Lloyd found in Vince’s house at the end of the episode.

Like Drama said, it ain’t baking soda.

Vince’s relationship troubles are just one of several inevitable outcomes this week. Turtle, for instance, has again allowed his business ambition to get ahead of his brains and demand of Avion tequila, stoked by a used car-style hard sell, has outpaced supply. Turtle’s solution: raise $5 million from investors to build another factory.

Candidate No. 1 is Ari, who has not time to entertain hair-brained schemes because he’s dealing with the personal and professional fallout of Lizziegate. First Jerry Jones of the Cowboys scolds him, and now Mrs. Ari can’t believe her husband said those awful things to his co-workers. Really? This is the same guy who drops homophobic remarks like they’re common prepositions. The guy who was dealmaking during his daughters’ bat mitzvah. The pampered life has a way of dulling the critical senses.

Drama might soon have the millions to invest, if he would only agree to star in Billy Walsh’s animated gorilla project, “Johnny’s Bananas.” Phil Yagoda tells Eric that the network is hot for the idea. But even the long wished for chance to star in his own series can’t convince Drama to play an angry ape, and Eric spends the rest of the episode trying to convince his client otherwise. The Chase brothers need to get out of their own way.

Speakeasy actually likes Reckless Vince; he’s more fun to watch than Bland Vince. And if his movie career tanks, Vince can always hawk tequila. Turtle has been pushing cases of the Mexican tequila around Hollywood and it’s taking off.

As is so often the case, though, the episode really belongs to Ari, who’s still waiting for the Lizzie bomb to drop. No one has been this nervous about secret tapes since Nixon. “Deadline Hollywood would run a story about me having a loose stool, much less tapes,” Ari tells Babs in one of the show’s best lines. But when he makes a fishing call to Deadline’s editor (played by Carrie Fisher), he discovers she has no dirt. So what’s become of the tapes?

Ari stalks Lizzie to a restaurant. “I haven’t slept in two days,” Ari says. “I need those tapes.” Lizzie wants to know why she wasn’t promoted and, in a rare moment of candor, Ari admits his wife wanted her out. A dètente is reached: Lizzie will gove back the tapes if Ari helps her get a studio job.

More evidence that Vince is lost: he’s taking advice from Billy Walsh. ”You look tired. You smell,” Walsh says as Vince heads to an important meeting with the director of “Airwalker.” Vince’s coffee remedy makes him more jittery than a methhead. The meeting is a disaster. Walsh is trying to rehab both Chase brothers. In a pitch meeting, he unveils his concept for Drama’s animated show. The Pitch: ”You’re a high strung simian trying to make it in a world that just doesn’t get you.” The title: “Johnny’s Bananas.” Drama is not on board.

Lizzie gives Ari the coveted tapes. But someone sent Deadline Hollywood the transcripts. NFL franchise – gone. Home life with the wife – we’re predicting stormy.

Here is no chance to think Vince as the only actor with troubles, as Turtle also has a problem sealing the deal with Alex thanks to some physical difficulties. While Ari is troubled with Lizzie Grant and Amanda Daniels, Mr. Gold turns helpless to regain his already volatile reputation. Moreover, Lizzie discloses the recordings of Ari’s rage to Deadline Hollywood.

Entourage: Episode 84 “Hair” has another element of happiness with rejoining of Billy Walsh, who has gone to backstage after his unsuccessful collaboration with Vince on “Medellin.” This time he returns as Eric (Kevin Connolly) dropping the fury for a little.

Tonight’s episode of Entourage, Season 7 – Bottom’s Up - is the5th episode of this season, and it has been going great. Turtle is back from his visit to Mexico, Drama might finally have a job, and Lizzie is trying to destroy Ari’s business. What will happen tonight? Keep reading myreview and recap if you want to know.

Tonight’s episode starts us off in a familiar scene – the four of them are in a club as Vince is talking to Sasha Gray, the porn star. Scotty comes along after receiving an invite. All of them starting picking on E for not giving butt sex yet and that he has to do it before marriage. Drama’s great line, “Are you kidding me E! The vagina is my third favorite hole.” Classic.

Ari is under a lot of pressure and takes it out on his wife during sex to the point where he is hurting her. Then he tells her thats what marriage is for – banging the anger out.

Bob Saget makes a great appearance. He tears E apart for not answering his calls. And then Sloane calls during the meeting about butt sex, since E googled and looked it up on wikipedia on their computer and forgot to delete the search history. Awkward and hilarious, since Bob knew what he was talking about based on the conversation.

Drama is freaking out because John Stamos hasn’t called yet. After the Bob Saget meeting where Drama finds out that Stamos showed the script to Saget and now Saget is going to take his job, Drama flips out and says he is going to kill Saget and that he is a dead man. Saget tells Drama that the script writer told everyone he wrote it for them. Drama leaves, moping that he has no life and is going to kill the scriptwriter. Saget’s hot broad offers Drama a blowjob if it’ll make him feel better, which he turns down, surprisingly.

Amanda Daniels? calls Ari, the agent that tried to steal Vince like four seasons ago maybe? She picked up Lizzie and is going to help her tear Ari’s company apart. Interesting appearance from a character we haven’t seen in years and definitely unexpected.

The episode ends with E and Sloane trying to have butt sex. Its hilarious. Neither of them really knew what they were doing. E tells Sloane she is strangling his dick and she calls him a pussy so he rams her hard and she cries out in pain. So funny. They decide to stop and just have regular sex. I don’t think we ever had a sex scene with Sloane but she was wearing clothes so it didn’t really count.

Turtle wants Vince to promote the Avion Tequila but E doesn’t think its a good idea. Turtle tells Vince about it and at the end of the episode, Vince calls E and tells him he wants to do thepromotion. What a great way for them to advertise – using Entourage to advertise it. I looked it up and it is a real liqueor and website.

This is my favorite episode thus far for this season…

The Entourage creators go international for the first time this season. Alex (Dania Ramirez) convinces Turtle to take a mysterious trip down to Mexico, where she connects the young wanna-be entrepreneur with a wealthy guy (Medium’s Miguel Sandoval) who would love to promote his family-owned premium tequila. There’s only one catch. A catch Turtle will have to deal with while figuring out his potential romantic future (or immense lack thereof) with Alex. This plotline could get juicy, or stick simple and flat. We’ll probably need one more episode to find out.

Dania Ramirez (Alex) is so bad, between her and Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloan) I don’t know which is hotter.

Turtle is about to lose everything, he has no money, his business is failing, his entire staff quit so he ends up down in Mexico to seek employment (more on that later.)

As for Ari after getting busted by his wife dancing with Miss Hottie Lizzie, he finds a way to deny her a promotion which pushes her to quit. Lizzie leaves the office threatening to make Ari pay for screwing her over. This feud will be a nice fight to watch in the upcoming episode.

He needs to keep his wife in check she can’t be dictating what’s happening in the workplace, now he’s lost his number one employee who will most likely end up screwing him over with theNFL deal.

Meanwhile Vince-Eric-Scott work triangle gets even funnier as the dudes try to battle it with punches and playing other silly games. This will not end well.

The episode ended with bang with Alex, taking Turtle down to Mexico to meet some strange man with a gun who is a potential business partner. What kind of business is he into, drug and gun trafficking?

The best line of the evening “Is that my hat, bro?”
