The “Hunger For More 2” album run is officially on and one of the first joints off it is appropriately titled “Start It Up” featuring Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie & Fabolous. This one is sort of just for the simple fact no one on this track (minus Ryan Leslie) was cool with each other a few years ago, definitely making it to iPod. It’s also been about 7 years since Banks and Fabolous been on a track together, it’s ill to hear how they sound now and how much they’ve developed. Back then they sound so much alike.

That Hunger For More 2 is due out November 23rd.

Some of you were already discussing the verse from Talkin To Myself, where he basically said he was planning on going at Kanye and Weezy.

He might be overestimating Lil Wayne a little bit but either way it would have been lame for Eminem to diss him or Kanye for no reason. Em has always been the underdog it wouldn’t be like him to just go at somebody without being attacked first.

The original only had Drake, Lil Wayne and and someone else who’s name escapes me at the moment, this version has the new verses from Drake, Lil Wayne, plus Kanye West and Eminem have been added to the roster which is far more epic than having someone on it who’s name I can’t remember.

You know your a hot artist when people are already remaking songs you already put out on mixtapes and repackaging them as singles, the kid didn’t even drop an album yet. In all honesty though I much prefer Lil Wayne and Drake’s original verses.

Shorty’s kinda crazy, but it turns him on. Kanye West said it, not us, in the song that’s becoming a video staring his girlfriend, Amber Rose.

“I have Kanye’s ‘Robocop’ video,” Rose told MTV News Monday night in Scranton, Pennsylvania, during the launch of the America’s Most Wanted Music Festival. “I’m playing a robot through the whole video. Ninety-five percent of the video is just me.”

Rose, who has appeared in such videos as Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like,” said the rise of her profile over the past few months has been a welcome surprise.

“I have Complex mag, Elle magazine, Persona magazine — I have the cover to the back, the whole issue is dedicated to me,” she said of her upcoming publicity appearances. “I’m excited about that.

“I definitely welcome it,” she added. “I appreciate all my fans. I definitely never expected it. I don’t wanna say I never wanted it. But … I just know a lot of girls, they go to modeling agencies every single day. That’s their life. A lot of stuff … just landed in my lap. I thank God for that; it’s really a blessing. I thank God for that — and Kanye, of course. Kanye definitely gave me the fast track to the top.”

Rose was in Scranton to support her girl Nick Minaj. The two first met on Twitter, then face to face on the set of Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video, which Kanye directed.

“She’s a dope girl,” Minaj said of Amber. “You can tell she’s dope. I’m all about girls that are spearheading a movement. She’s doing her own thing in her own lane. The world has yet to see what she’s going to accomplish. Be on the lookout for that.”

With its mix of singing and rapping, Drake’s buzz-building mixtape So Far Gone has drawn comparisons to Kanye West’s latest effort 808s & Heartbreak. For his part, Drake said the Chicago lyricist had a huge impact on his music and even described ‘Ye as “the most influential person” in shaping the young rapper’s sound. “Before I ever got the chance to meet him, Kanye West shaped a lot of what I do, as far as music goes,” Drake told MTV News on Tuesday night before his show at S.O.B.’s. “We always, always, always took the time to listen to Kanye’s music and appreciate it beyond. We searched the samples and we find out where his inspiration came from, because he has one of the best ears in music, period. He knows how to recognize great music that’s not his. He knows how to utilize great sounds and great music. So before I met him, I had the utmost respect for Kanye West. I’d even go as far as to say he’s the most influential person as far as a musician that I’d ever had in my life.” Drake said he and ‘Ye initially met in Hawaii, where West has been working on music recently. The interaction was brief at first, but now the two are expected to collaborate on Drake’s upcoming debut album. ‘Ye attended Drake’s New York show this week, and one of West’s managers, Gee Roberson, acts as a co-manger for Drake. Over the weekend, West returned the accolades in a post on his blog, saying that one of Drizzy’s lines on Young Money’s “Every Girl” is the rhyme of the year. “Drake said, ‘Do you like girls like I do?? Les-bi-honest!!!!!’ Best line of the year so far!” West wrote in all caps. As an upstart, Drake said the comment was hilarious and flattering. “I feel like it’s funny, because that’s something he might have said,” Drake said about the line. “[But] it’s an honor that he’s even looking at me as somewhat of an equal, somewhat of a peer. Of course Knaye sales this time around would be allot lower than “Graduation”, what with the poor economy, no “50 Cent vs Kanye West” hype, not to mention the his auto-tune induced, 808′s which are really 909′s singer/rap album is a complete three sixty from his previous work which may have thrown his fans off a little. None this less 443k is not a failure by any standard especially given our economic current slump.

Ludacris on the other hand sold half of what Kanye did in his first week even though from a Hip Hop stand point, Luda clearly has a better rap album. This could be a result of him not having a super hit record even though “One More Drink” is currently climbing the charts. None the less 212k is not a failure and if you heard his album you would know he still has a few tracks that could be big singles. He’s only on his second single so far.

“Heartless” is a song by American hip hop artist Kanye West. It is the second single off West’s upcoming album 808s & Heartbreak. Much like the first single off the album, “Love Lockdown”, the song is Auto-Tuned.

The song was performed for the first time at the ONE Campaign concert during the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Since then, the song has been performed at a T.I. concert at Key Club in Los Angeles. Kanye made a special guest apperance and confirmed the song’s future release as a single.

I don’t know man I’m just not feeling anything from this album so far, this is too far left for me and not in a good way, this is not like a Outkast left but something else.

Comedy Central has teamed with Kanye West for a project described as hip-hop meets the Muppets.

A half-hour pilot has been shot for the project, tentatively titled “Alligator Boots.” It’s from Jackhole Prods., the production company founded by Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison and Adam Carolla that also was behind Comedy Central’s puppet-centric “Crank Yankers.”

The project, which is under consideration for 2009, would feature music produced and performed by West and fellow rapper Rhymefest, both of whom are serving as executive producers on the pilot alongside Kellison. West also hosts the pilot; the idea is to have a different celebrity guest host for every episode, similar to the setup on the original “Muppet Show.”

A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.

Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye’s assistant grabbed our camera — a struggle ensued and the assistant threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.

When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, “Gimme that f**king tape!”

Both Kanye and his assistant have been arrested and will be booked.

808’s & Heartbreak is the title for Kanye West’s upcoming fourth album. The album is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2008. The first single off the album will be “Love Lockdown”, which has already been performed live and is planned for release to U.S. Top 40 radio on October 7, 2008. He performed his new single at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye, who is scheduled to close out the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, will also reveal details about his 4th album during the show according to XXL.

A source in ‘Ye’s camp, however, told XXLmag.com late yesterday that “official word” would on the new album details will be coming Sunday night.

It was announced yesterday that West will close out the MTV award show. It’s being billed by the network as an “explosive finale.” Last year, Kanye released his much-hyped third album Graduation, where he battled and bested 50 Cent in a first-week sales showdown. The two rappers appeared on last year’s telecast of the VMAs to promote their projects and the burgeoning rivalry.
