Nicki Minaj Addresses Lil Kim Rumors, “That’s Not In My Character & That’s Ridiculous”

Nicki Minaj is still sharing her side of the story regarding her Hot 97 Summer Jam cancellation. Now, the Young Money superstar is addressing rumors that she planned to stage a mock Lil Kim funeral at the show. Kim tweeted about Minaj planning to bring veteran femcee (and former Kim rival) Foxy Brown onstage and accused Nicki of copying a similar performance recently where Kim brought out Eve and Missy. "I reached out to her a few months ago […] [Foxy Brown] has always been a part of my line up and I’ve known I was doing summer Jam for maybe a year now, so people are very crazy to think that this is something that I just decided to do," Nicki told The Breakfast Club. "I’ve just always really loved her. I’ve always made it known how much I loved her and Lauryn Hill, and so when she found out about the drama, I thought she was going to be disappointed but instead she called me and was like ‘Yo Nick, I am riding with you, we are all here and were not leaving this hotel, we support your decision”, and that was how we all went out. Everyone came out to dinner with me that night and everyone supported the decision. Everyone was like. ‘Yo, Wayne was completely right and we made the right move.’" Nicki wouldn't even let DJ Envy ask her about the mock funeral rumors. "I don’t even want you to finish that sentence because that’s not in my character and that’s ridiculous," Nicki stated. "Lets stop with all the rumors that are giving people false hope that they are relevant please. I’m not about to bring death on my stage, my stage is about life and love and that’s it, PERIOD. It was about us bigging up each other, myself and Foxy. No one, who is irrelevant was going to be made relevant on my stage."

Foxy Brown – Massacre (Lil Kim Diss)

Shit just went from bad to worse, only 14 days into the new year and rap fuckry is already in full effect. Foxy Brown decides to include her self into to the Kim vs Nicki beef with her diss record "Massacre" going at Lil Kim. The worst part about it is the record sucks, Foxy was once my favorite female rapper and I always placed her above Lil Kim but this is trash. Haven't heard a diss record this bad since Jay-Z's "Super Ugly" (chuckles). When all the smoke clears, Nicki Minaj will be the victor. If Hip Hop history has taught us anything is that you can't stop new momentum. And Foxy please stop with the Jamaican shit, getting smashed by a Jamaican doesn't make you one. Sounding silly doing that shit on rap records when your accent ain't even on point like that, SMH. Thoughts?

Kim is all over the place with her thoughts, she talking about beef and throwing God into the mix at the same time. Listening to this, it sounds like she doesn't even have a valid argument and is suffering from delusions of grandeur if she really believes she has her foot on Nicki Minaj's neck. Really Kim, on her neck? What with that less than mediocre effort you made on that Black Friday disposable after 10 minutes track you put out that everyone already forgot about while they still continue to bump Roman's Revenge. Nah Kim that couldn't be what your referring to. Nicki will be platinum by the end of January, already made Billboard history, she's now certified Gold and she just past Kanye West in sales. Kim just let Nicki do her thing and be glad you got some relevance back because of her. Thoughts?

Nicki Minaj Officially Responds to Lil’ Kim

Up until this point Nicki Minaj has been very polite about Lil' Kim dissing her, she's called Lil Kim a icon in interviews, showed love on many occasions. Even in this most recent interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97 VIP Lounge, she said Lil Kim influenced her. That's before she threw Kim under the bus, I mean way under. Nicki Says:

[Kim] just really jumped out the window. You gotta be really careful when you pick fights...I think people get me mistaken with a real Barbie. They forget where I'm from. And if I have to [respond], I can and I will. Don't play with me. It's one of those moments when you say, 'Don't play with me.

I respect you, I love you, I've said it in every interview time and time again. And if that's not good enough [for] you, mama, that's something deep-rooted in you. You need to get your -- something is bothering you inside. That's your insecurity bothering you. It's not Nicki Minaj, it would've been any girl that started poppin'. She picked a fight with Foxy, then she picked a fight with Eve, then she picked a fight with Remy, then it was Mrs. Wallace, then it was Nicki Minaj! Everytime you in the news, it's because you gettin' at somebody! Where is your music? ...When I see your name on Billboard, that's when I'll respond to you.

Diddy Is Not Apologizing to Lil Kim For Siding with Nicki Minaj

I have to agree with Diddy on this one even though he’s only siding with Nicki Minaj because he wants his Management team to manage Nicki’s career, I mean it’s Diddy and business always comes first. At the end of day Nicki is hot right now and this is a classic case of the old heads not showing love to the new bloods in the business. Can anyone show a instance where Nicki disses Kim? If there is it sure isn’t public.
