Gunshots rang out early Sunday morning claiming the life of the young DJ. Police rushed to the scene where witnesses say the heard a single gunshot around 2am in the Clifton area of Staten Island. DJ Megatron was fatally shot in the stomach, and police pronounced him dead on the scene. His stepfather, Keith Robinson said that the family was obviously distraught over the death of the Hot 97 resident DJ and BET's 106th and Park regular. Lisa Torres, a close friend of Megatron, arrived to the scene at 4am, after just talking to him hours earlier. She became distraught and inconsolable when the news finally sank in saying "He's right there on the ground. I can't believe this! You're lying, you're lying!That's not Megatron right there!"
