There's never been a bigger artist than Wiz Khalifa to come out of the city of Pittsburgh. After his breakout single "Black & Yellow" became the the official theme song for the Pittsburgh Steelers, It was clear that Wiz had become a treasure to his city and they've decided that it's time to make it official. Pittsburgh council man, William Peduto, proclaimed that December 12, 2012 was “Wiz Khalifa Day.” Getting your own day out of the year, not bad for putting words together over instrumentals.

Wiz Khalifa - O.N.I.F.C. Album Review

This album is what Rolling Papers should have sounded like, even Wiz Khalifa himself admitted to the flaws of his major debut and from the sound of this sophomore project, there's a clear effort to not repeat those mistakes. Wiz sounds much more comfortable on this album, more like the mixtape Wiz. The beat selection on this project is flawless and fits Wiz's style perfectly. The overall vibe and subject matter of the album paints a picture of a rapper who's evolving and moving up on the Hip Hop food chain. There's also this intentional presence of the Taylor Gang movement all over this album with features from Chevy Woods, Juicy J, Lola Monroe, and even Amber Rose. The external features also made allot of sense for their respective tracks, such as Cam'ron on Bluff, 2 Chainz on It's Nothin, and The Weeknd on Remember You. Once again what really makes this album special is the production, which is something that wasn't as coherent on his previous effort. Not that Rolling Papers didn't have it's moments and the production wasn't good but everything didn't play well together as a over all cohesive album. When you listen to the album, you can picture Wiz sitting in the studio going through hundreds of beats to find the right one for each track. There's something for every Wiz Khalifa fan out this album. I can't even really point out a filler track on the project, every track was solid. In conclusion whether your a new Wiz Khalifa fan or a veteran like myself, you'll find something on this album and it's definitely worth the purchase. I give it 4/5. Wiz Khalifa – O.N.I.F.C. (Tracklist)

Wiz Khalifa's O.N.I.F.C. album tracklist has been released, but unfortunately the album has been pushed back until December 4th, due to record label fuckry. What we have until then is a recently released single entitled "Remember You" featuring The Weeknd. The second official single following Wiz's platinum "Work Hard Play Hard" single. Many have debated whether Wiz have fallen off since the release of his major label debut Rolling Papers, my answer to that is no. Especially when Rolling Papers wasn't even that good, that first go around was an experiment for Wiz trying to differentiate his sound from the mixtape Wiz Khalifa which is where I think he messed up. Perfect example would be his recently released mixtape Taylor Allderdice which I feel was more enjoyable than his album. That's the formula Wiz should stick to. The 2 official singles from the album thus far are good, but take a look at all the good tracks released this year that didn't make the tracklist. Wiz Khalifa – Oz’s & Lbs (feat. Chevy Woods & Berner) (Hard!) Wiz Khalifa – Telescope (feat. 50 Cent) (Ferrari F 50 showed up for this one) Wiz Khalifa – Different Cloth (feat. Busta Rhymes) (Busta goes ham as usually…Legit!!!) Wiz Khalifa – Far From Coach (feat. Game & Stat Quo) (This is fire) Not to say this say this much features should be on an album but it shows you that Wiz hasn't lost a step musically, it's when it comes to an album, you might not get the Wiz your looking for.

Wiz Khalifa Involved in Alleged Hit-And-Run

Wiz Khalifa is currently being investigated by Los Angeles law enforcement, as they believe he may have smashed into a woman's vehicle and then fled the scene. I supposedly happened last Wednesday night, according to TMZ and the LAPD. It was reported that police were searching for the Pittsburgh rapper after the woman filed a police report. The woman was said to be working on the same music video set as Khalifa. It was around midnight when the incident took place - just as everyone was departing from the set. Not much more is known about this incident, but authorities are currently in search of Khalifa. Wiz who just recently confirmed that his O.N.I.F.C. album was complete, just released his second official single called "Remember You" featuring The Weeknd. The album was once again pushed back to December 4th, and if this incident turns out to be true, it could cause further delays.

"There was always a happy medium, It's just like I said, you gotta express those views and that's where I said I was at, at that point with me more or less having to express my views and make those stick." "It's nobody's problem or anything like that. That's just where we was at, at the time." "The album is completely done and that's what it was, just getting it all the way finished,You can just expect it to be more musical. 1. Dr. Dre @ $110 million

Dr. Dre tops the list this year mostly due to his Beats By Dre headphones, but there's also the fact that he has stake in the careers of Emineem and 50 Cent plus a very profitable catalog of music. He's also the only artist other than 50 Cent to make over $100 million in a single year.

2. Diddy @ $45 million

Diddy comes in second as he continues pull in huge profits from his stake the Ciroc Vodka brand, in October 2007 Diddy agreed to help develop the Ciroc vodka brand for a 50 per cent share of the profits. He became a brand ambassador for the product. The product has had huge commercial success and is synonymous with Hip Hop culture, often affiliated with terms like "Ciroc Boys" or Diddy referring to himself as Cîroc Obama. Cîroc is on pace to sell more than 2 million cases in 2012.

3. Jay-Z @ $38 million

Jay-Z continues to be the ultimate hustler, he's never fell below the 3rd position and has for many years been at the top spot. His Roc Nation label sports artists like J. Cole, Rita Ora, Willow Smith and Jahlil Beats as well as a management roster containing acts like Rihanna, Meek Mill, Wale, Melanie Fiona and Shakira just to name a few. His collaboration album Watch The Throne with Kanye West was very successful and many would even call it classic.

4. Kanye West @ $35 million

Kanye West is not too far behind his big brother Jay-Z with $35 million, His G.O..O.D Music label is the home to Big Sean, Pusha T, Common, Kid CuDi and more. His Air Yeezy sneaker line is also very successful, not to mention the Watch The Throne tour that brought in big profits for both Kanye and Jay-Z.

5. Lil Wayne @ $27 million

Lil Wayne closes out the top 5 with $27 million, allot of which is due to his latest album Tha Carter IV, which sold almost a million copies it's first week. He's finally started to branch out into non-music ventures such as DEWeezy with Mountain Dew, and Trukfit clothing line.

6. Drake @ $20.5 million

Lil Wayne's YMCMB front runner Drake stays close to Weezy with a little over $20 million. This is a big jump from last year where he tied Wiz Khalifa for the 11th spot earning $11 million. His Take Care album was very successful, selling 631,000 copies it's first week. This was then followed by a successful Club Paradise tour. He also shills for Sprite and Kodak.

7. Bryan “Birdman” Williams @ $20 million

He’s the co-founder and chief of Cash Money Records—home to listmates Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj—and adds to his coffers with other ventures including clothing and vodka. Birdman tied Wayne last year for the number 4 spot earning $15 million.

8. Nicki Minaj @ $15.5 million

I guess it's 19 Cash Kings and 1 Cash Queen, performances at the Super Bowl and the Grammys helped raise her profile while a new album, extensive touring and endorsements with Pepsi and others lined her pocketbook. I might be wrong but I think Nicki Minaj is the only female to ever make Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.

Sometimes music is enough. Eminem sold more albums last decade than any artist in the world, and continues to cash in from his extensive back catalog and occasional tour dates.

10. Ludacris @ $12 million

The multihyphenate mogul’s non-musical ventures include Conjure cognac, headphone line Soul, voiceovers for RadioShack and roles in movies such as Fast Five and New Year’s Eve.

11. Pitbull @ $9.5 million

The self-proclaimed "Mr. International" has been making money all around the world, pulling in millions from touring, record sales and endorsements with the likes of Kodak and Dr. Pepper.

Oh man, I was waiting on that joint. In a interview with Fuse Wiz tells them that the "O.N.I.F.C." project has been pushed back until September, It's only a month but still. It's not due to a lack buzz though, just to be clear. He also speaks on other upcoming projects such as the collaboration joint with Currency the hot spitta celebrating the 3 years anniversary for their classic How Fly mixtape. He also talked about Big Sean's horrible B Ball skills as well as the upcoming Taylor Gang album. If you haven't been keeping up, these are the releases from Wiz in the past few weeks - All hot too. First he hit us with Oz’s & Lbs featuring Chevy Woods & Berner, Telescope featuring the boy 50 Cent, fif kills his verse. Wiz Khalifa Responds To Kanye West Dropping His Name on The “Theraflu” Track

By now, Kanye West's "Way Too Cold" (Theraflu), has blasted on the radio and in clubs many times, so tons of people have heard it. In the song, West fires direct shots at his current girlfriend's ex, Kris Humphries, while simultaneously dropping Wiz Khalifa's name in the track, but in a respectful way. Everyone knows Wiz is now engaged to West's ex-girl Amber Rose, so people might think that Kanye would have some negative words in regards to Wiz if he were to mention him on a song. However, West clearly stated that he respects Wiz when he spit the lines: "The whole industry wanna f*ck your old chick / The only n*gga I got respect for is Wiz / And I'll admit I fell in love with Kim / Right around the same time she fell in love with him." Until recently, Wiz Khalifa has remained silent about his name being dropped in the song. But DJ Funkmaster Flex got Wiz to speak up about the song on New York City's Hot 97 radio show Monday night (4/23). Here's what Wiz had to say in response to Flex asking him if he was shocked and why he felt shocked: "Yes, because he said my name. I've gone a long time without anybody actually saying my name out loud like that. It wasn't a bad thing. It was just the fact that it was my name.
