On Monday when Drake debut his Aaliyah track “Enough Said” produced by Noah “40″ Shebib, it was met with mixed reaction from Drake fans as well as long time Aaliyah fans (like myself) that felt some kind of way about Timbaland and Missy Elliott not being apart of the project.
Since they both were very instrumental to Aaliyah’s signature sound and success.
In a turn of events, in a interview with Billboard.biz, cousin of Aaliyah Jomo Hankerson and founder of Blackground Records has confirmed that Timbaland and Missy will be involved in the making of the album. They will play a part in the sound of unreleased material from Aaliyah.
Jomo Hankerson said the reason why he chose Drake and 40 to co-executive produce the project was due to their “unique sound” on Alicia Keys’ The Element Of Freedom single “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready).”
That was one hell of a record, but is that enough to have them executive produce an entire album for one of the most beloved R&B singers?
Either way, there is no way I’m not going to going pick-up an Aaliyah album when it hits stores, even if Timbaland and Missy Elliott weren’t involved.
But now that they are involved, I’m definitely looking forward to the project now.
How About y’all?

She has passed away .. When a singer dies they have music left behind and it ends up getting pulled from where ever they recorded tracks and someone eithier releases it or makes a duet on the track with them and releases it .
