The album was scheduled to be released on August 12, 2008 September 2, 2008 and then September 9, 2008 but it was pushed back to September 30, 2008. He is working on the new studio album while under house arrest on pending gun charges. He has completed 50 tracks for the album already. He says that he only likes about 16 of them and plans to produce about 16 more. The album is entitled Paper Trail, which comes from lyrics he has written down on paper. He abandoned this style of rapping after his first album I’m Serious. “He wanted to take more time to really put something down (this time),” explains his rep. According to his MySpace page, Paper Trail is set to be released September 30th, 2008.

I am kind of disappointed about this album. He cut a lot of good tracks from it. Of course he recorded like over 50 tracks and picked his best ones but I would have liked to see the ones that were leaked on here. A Better Day was a really good song, that song made me want the album, Like I Do is like my favorite song right now, Let My Beat Pound is an amazing bass song and I liked how he pulled away from his usual T.I./T.I.P. The tracks that I did hear on this cd, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, were pretty good. I didn’t care for Live Your Life and Swagger Like Us so much but I was banging the other tracks everywhere I went. Other than that, I hope this cd is banging, if its not, I will still be a hardcore T.I. fan!!!!
