I really think there is an active movement to potray hiphop as illiterate and destructive, by the industry. There is a medium for experimental rock, country etc but the major consumerist outlets peddle ignorance that doesn’t truely potray Hip Hop. I got Sirius radio in the whip and the only station I can listen to is Backspin..everything else sounds f@#king retarded and juvenile coming from old ass cats who were spinning when I was a child( Yes, Greg Nice, I’m talkig about your corny ass!)
Hip hop needs to grow up and ask more of those who purport to “forward” the genre._
