After almost a decade fill with hatred and ridicule that took place during pretty much every album he’s released before The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem issues a public apology and formally buries the hatchet with his mother.
The Spike Lee directed video shows Em going back home to 8 Mile to offer up an official music visual to his 5th single from the album, “Headlights” with singer-songwriter Nate Ruess.
The video shows a few shots of Marshall’s low-income setting from his childhood and being limited to little to nothing to live on. He reflects on his past and remembers incidents including multiple repossessions, he caps the video with issuing an apology letter to his mom.
It’s good that Eminem has finally resolved things with his Mom, you shouldn’t let things like that go unresolved.
