XXL’s 2012 Freshmen Class

Posted by & filed under Hip Hop News.

If you were saying WTF to last year’s Freshmen list, then this year should be no different. Machine Gun Kelly, Danny Brown, Kid Ink, Future, Roscoe Dash, Hopsin, Macklemore, Don Trip, Iggy Azalea and French Montana are this year’s Freshmen Class. There’s maybe 3 cats on here that I fucks with.

Thoughts on the list?

The only people I know on this list are MGK, Roscoe Dash, Hopsin, Future, and French Montana and the only one I sincerely like is Hopsin.

@ Concept. I’m right there witcha bro, I haven’t really heard of any of these new hip hop artist, that’s not a good thing. But to be honest no new artist since 2009 has really caught my attention, except Drake, he got skills compared to all these other new rappers…. That being said, I do have to say MGK showed some skill on that beat “Wildboy”, but nothing that I feel will change the game though.
