Over the summer Young Jeezy was named the Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records, so it makes sense now that he would move his move his record label CTE to his new home.

Jezzy will be heading up the new venture alongside Atlantic chairman Craig Kallman.

When asked about the recent departure of Freddie Gibbs from CTE, Jeezy had this to say:

“Freddie is a talented artist and I decided that it’s time to press reset on my career and business ventures. I have no doubt that Freddie will go on to be everything I believe he can be, and I wish him the best in his career.”

It’s a good move for Jeezy and CTE but would really like to know what lead to Gibbs leaving.
