Young Jeezy Is The New Boss, He Was Named Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records

Last night on Atlanta based radio station V103 radio show hosted by Greg Street, he announced that Young Jeezy has been named Senior Vice President of A&R at Atlantic Records.

The news was quickly given a second confirmation by DJ Folk, who has worked with Jeezy for years and was a major factor behind the CTE movement.

There has been no official word from Young Jeezy regarding his complete role in the new position, but it’s a very interesting predicament for Jeezy, since he’s still signed to Def Jam as a artist.

His classic Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, was released in 2005 on Def Jam followed by every solo album since then including his now certified gold album TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition, which has an average of 4 stars  from 35 user votes in our album review section.

The question that most will ask, will probably be what makes Jeezy qualified to be in this position and what successful projects has he A&R-ed.

Which are all valid points.

Either way it’s a good look for the Snow man, congrats.

From the Trap house to boardroom.
